The kenya story seems to be about Trump reigning in pharma companies which means they can't dump overstock on the third world market for pennies anymore and do tax write off loopholes.

Basically American's can't pay for the bulk of drugs anymore, other countries got them for cheaper since americans provided like 90% of the profits and upkeep to the companies and are the sole reason the rest of the world ran that way when it came to medical drugs. It now means the rest of the world pays more while Americans will pay less because the companies now have to make up the void that was formed.

I want to point out something here. Things like abortion drugs being FUCKING CHEAP in Kenya due to the aforementioned policy is part of why Africa as a whole is utterly stagnant. Ironically, despite the downmark, in most African countries the cheapness makes it ideally suited for a, what amounts to in Africa, middle class income. Additionally, abortions in Africa make up a.,.. disturbing percentage of all pregnancies. So the people who actually build, make, and work with shit all abort their kids while the poor masses actually still can't afford it and multipy. Cue rampant gangs, violence, and oh look those comparatively middle class people are dead, raped, and doomed.
