100%. Post modern critique is interesting and useful as a lens for historians but is in no way substantial to the general population, which it's now addled completely. I think it's only practical application is public history; examining the veracity of the narratives that institutions choose to tell, what they do not tell and why. It can and should cut both ways...the post modern critiques of their own forebearers (Lyotard, Derida, Foucault) should show there is and should be no loyalty.

All organized religions have problems with child abuse, most notably the Catholic Church. In the past couple of weeks a priest was caught with two S & M hookers doing the nasty on a church altar and two Amish creeps are going to prison because they can't stay away from their sister. At this point I'd be surprised if certain rabbis in yeshivas weren't closet pedos, that's how bad this shit is in society. We know you have a hate boner for Jews, you don't have keep jumping into the thread to remind us.

Stop. I did not say child abuse/rape is exclusively a Catholic issue, just that it's notable since it gets a lot of media attention. I am a Roman Catholic, graduated from a Roman Catholic prep school and worked at a Roman Catholic university and I can personally attest to the fact nuns and priests are abusive to children; I know of one male priest who sexually abused my step-brother.

I'm a Roman Catholic just like your lord and savior Adolf Hitler, who would spit on you for defending the present day Catholic Church. Untermenschen like you get the rope.

Some recommendations for the Top 10 or 20, a few things that I remember without doing too much research to refresh my memory.

They burned a Confederate museum and destroyed a lot of documents and letters, besides a flag, I think?
Some big, famous sci-fi/fantasy book store was absolutely destroyed, wasn't it?
That Confederate soldier statue that landed on one of the rioters when they tore him down.
The Chicago police scanner kept getting hijacked by people telling the police to stand down.
Some people lynched a puppy on live television (I think it was normal TV news, and not a live stream).
Antifa carrying a pig's head on a stick in Portland.
Some guy in Philadelphia killed himself trying to open an ATM with explosives.
Some random black woman in Chicago riding a horse down the street for some reason.

Not to mention the big things later on like Kenosha and King Raz of CHAZ.

Also, how many deaths are we up to now? I've got a vague impression that the Pinkerton incident brings us up to nearly 40 or so deaths directly associated with the riots, protests, and looting, not counting the spike in ordinary murder rates. There were like 20 or 30 that first week, and they keep trickling in since then.

It is all pretty bullshit. Clergy of any denomination have a lower offender rate than the general population. You are more likely to get molested by any rando on the street than who ever leads your church.
