Can something like EFAP even exist among Bread Tubers? I get the feeling they are too passive aggressive to each other for them to come together in a stream as long as that.
No. Jack and Taxxon did a response stream after dodging offers to come on to hash out their positions and live tweeting for something approching 7 hours during the EFAP that covered Jack's videos. Where as EFAP is generally responding to flaws in video essays, the bulk of the episodes is less about the videos that are being critiqued and more about friendly discussion, banter and sometimes even arguements with generally fun people that don't take themselves too seriously. I do not think perpetually and intentionally unhappy people that populate breadtube can really emulate it.

Jack's response is some of the most depressing and boring stuff that you will likely ever see.

Breadtube is also extremely concerned with being 100% correct. Which even though I don't like most of the efap crew. They are willing to admit when they fuck up. A show with self masturbating leftists would be incredibly boring and have no conflict.

I think that is also why they seem to shy away from any sort of collaborative live content unless it's people in their VERY distinct sub cliques. That and I subscribe to the idea that they are one burned bridge from a massive meltdown that takes a large swathe with them.

Yeah, but that's like being the smartest kid with Down's Syndrome.

Jason Unruhe is a repulsive Maoist, a pretentious pseudo-intellectual dipshit, and a literal punk.

And he's still somehow better than the BreadTube motherfuckers. Let that sink in for a bit

Jason is a sped, but let's give credit where it's due:
He's not a grifter.
He's not doing this to be in with the cool kids.
He believes what he says and has existed for years in the YouTube wilderness spouting it.

Few if any of these BreadTubers would be doing what they are doing without donations or asspats. He's kept going without either.

Sailor Moon and My Hero Academia are pretty much the only anime that BreadTube wokesters are allowed to like, and I'm pretty sure MHA only gets a pass because it's about superheroes and is popular with Tumblr fujos
I would change MHA for Ranma because it tends to get mentioned as "trans theory". If anything MHA is a show that is uncomfortably sitting in the fence as is enjoyed by "both sides" and it was even labeled as the "capitalistic Naruto" by known anime pope Mother's Basement. Guess you could throw Princess Jellyfish, Aggretsuko and even JJBA but that would be for entry level weebs. MHA usually just gets a pass for best boys and the recolors.

As for why internet ideologues go for anime is simply because its cool now and arguably you get less slack for liking a medium which features animation for adults unlike the West. Remember that breadtube's grand plan is to prey on the same spergs the alt-right did so they take what they like and shape it for their needs.

Does anyone else feel like Youtube is pimping the big Breadtubers now more than ever? Vaush and Thought Slime seem to be popping up constantly at the top of my page, even though I avoid both their videos like the plague, and have at most watched a couple of videos about Vaush from sources that are less than complimentary.
Likely is tag abuse and that by definition they are commentary channels. Watch one commentator and the rest will come like flies to honey.

They are justing the old commentator strategy of all talking about the same topics around the same time just with there own "spin" on things. It allows them all to get each other audience through recommendations. There was a YouTube who talked about this. Basicly all the big commentators would agree on a topic to discuss so they would all be in each other's recommendations.

It also helps if you mention another youtuber a bunch in different videos because It gets you to become associated with there content as well.

It's pretty much impossible for people to become fully un-redpilled. Sure, they may mature out of the more odious and crackpot rightwing shit like hardcore racialism, holocaust denialism, or wanting to machinegun boats full of migrants, but they absolutely won't be able to unlearn FBI crime stats or not notice when some blatantly degenerate or anti-white shit is being pushed by people whose name ends in "berg."
"Deradicalized" people are grifters, without exception. I doubt that the ex-alt right guy @Retrodogkiller was talking about made a big deal about being "deradicalized" from the alt right, especially since being a fascist, even a non-racialist one, is still absolutely haram in any circle he could sell that story to. Everyone who was "deradicalized" was an edgy liberal or idiot normie who started hanging out in extremely left wing circles, or in the case of actual former right wingers, someone who realized that being a real dissident is hard and the money is on the faux socialism side. For the former, some of them may actually be stupid and impressionable enough to believe that their edgy jokes or occasional center-right opinion made them "alt right" thanks to their new commie buddies, but they have a social and/or financial incentive to convince themselves of that. Anyone with half a brain who claims to be "deradicalized" is a straight up bullshit artist.

That's why they all have the same canned story about the "alt right Youtube rabbit hole" and all have absolutely halal orthodox left wing beliefs, with not a "problematic" thought among them.

This is it, these communities actively cross-promote their stuff and act together to set the agenda. Bigger voices hand out scraps to the smaller ones and so on and so forth. It was, and to an extent still is, the exact same for the sceptics. If you didn't already realise this is primarily a grift, then a propaganda making effort.

What I personally find funny is that all these groups that form online political communities end up exactly the same. They start as an insurgent movement that assails a larger, older political orthodoxy for their laziness, hypocrisy and hauty attitude. They themselves then come to prominence, gain an audience and promote themselves as the standard bearers of some great cause (Atheism, Socialism, Freedom etc). However, this descends into a grift as the money is easy, and increasingly requires less and less effort thanks to streaming. Money and prominence within the community become the foremost concerns - meanwhile they promote the great cause ("I have don't more for white people than you", "ShoeOnHead has done more for socialism" etc etc), but this is paper thin nonsense as "promoting" their cause is just a case of preaching to their choir. Sure they want to grow their audience for pennies and asspats, but once they have 2-300k people active in their communities they're comfy enough.

It becomes a lazy, hypocritical, hauty circle-jerk - just like those who they supplanted. Either they are too stupid or narcissistic to see they have essentially become a mirror of those they opposed, or they do the whole thing is entirely cynical. Yes, give me money so I can continue my work promoting socialism - no I'm not going to give away any of my money, no I don't consider it to be stolen Labour even if it is from your mom's credit card.

strong shades of faradayspeaks in this one!

Anyone who is making waves on youtube talking about being deradicalized ought to be questioned. Well I acknowledge people can change views over time and evolve, most of these grifters have no principles.
The thing is a lot of them pretend being a anti-sjw is interchangeable with being alt-right and they pretend that becoming a far leftist is the acceptable moderate position to move to as a end game. Real deradicalization stories I've heard don't include shout outs to breadtube, like a guy becoming fuck buddies with a black chick and when he had a mixed kid as a result it made him reconsider things, or a chick who left after people in her circle were involved in nail bomb killings

Christ, his ignorance of Chinese history is mind numbing. It's incredibly clear he just did some barebones research, and then decided to view everything through his usual lenses. His tangent on the "ignorant british conquerors" seeking to bring religious salvation to the Chinese is just blatantly false.
Yes Christianity was heavily promoted in China as trade with Europe increased, but that process was mostly spearheaded by independent missionary forces like the Jesuits and Presbyterians. Groups that were in fact mistrusted by the nobility of northern Europe. Jesuits being spies of the papacy, and Presbyterians being some hogwash the Scots embraced when they decided they were done being used by the French Catholics to try and dunk on the English.

In fact, the British allied themselves with the Qing government against the Christians during the Taiping Rebellion. I don't get how you can look at interaction between the western powers and China and get the idea that the European states were looking to shove bibels down the throat of every Chinaman
Came across this video randomly and got curious enough if he would jerk off the chinese to shit on the west to watch it all. Instead the video really seemed to be about some simple sketches about how ignorant and eurocentric westerners are, while the Confucius and China stuff was just fluff.

He also apparently had a livestream after releasing the video.
I only watched a couple of minutes, but he starts off by complaining about being poor and having to spend £4000 (for 6 months) on renting an office because he couldn't get good enough internet at his apartment. Meanwhile he makes at least 20000 USD per month only from his patreon.

He and Contra have truly embraced the champagne socialist label

I'm unwilling to watch the stream for a number of reasons, so can anyone comment how much he actually grasps Confucianism and does he even bother commenting on legalism?

Skipping quickly through it, it seems to be very little about Confucianism and mostly about answering superchats that is jacking him off.
He does a "postmortem" stream sometime after every vid he makes, which are basically just answering superchats jacking him off
