I still remember when people were trying to promote not shaming gays for being effeminate and now the modern LGBT movements pushes them to believe they're not even men if they're effeminate. Throw in the shaming people for not wanting to sleep with someone based on their genitalia and the LGBT movement comes across as legit homophobic. And now if you call out any of this you get described as right wing or culture warrior or whatever random shit that lets people pretend they're not promoting inherently bigoted beliefs.

Exactly, LGBT is inherently homophobic. The T was added because it has a lot more use for modern political activism, and to capitalize on the compassion people developed for the previous letters.
Shoe may genuinely have a soft spot for trannies because of her high school friend, but she has shown she has a cynical and cult-like mindset of converting people, with everything she posts trying to further that goal.

June's really hedging her bets and talking out of both sides of her mouth here. "It's a very moderate and uncontroversial platform, and also it will never happen." It was a mistake, yes, but they didn't do it randomly. The intention was always to have a movement against "straight" and "the norm". That's basically the base for any progressive movement, to break and destroy what's current and normal for most people and label it as "wrong". LGBT and the rest of the alphabet soup can be now easily defined as simply "not heterosexual" and that's what most of "Queer Theory" advocates. In this type of theories, you don't even need to be gay or bi to be queer.
Of course Shoe's gonna end up defending trans and the lgbt activists because they advocate against the idea that is normal and expected that people her age have jobs, are married, and have kids. The LGBT label just pander to mediocre, failed people under a woke and politically correct name and Shoe's just having a big confirmation bias and validation of her self with them.
