While I don't doubt for any moment Geoff loves his daughter, and under any circumstances she did not deserved to be deep faked in Discord, he's not to careful about her if he lets her post this kind of pics online on her twitter (in october), which btw she shouldn't have an account on twitter were a bunch of weirdos can and will comment and retweet.
I'm fully aware trying to be sexy is a part of every teen phase, especially if you can pull off looking 18 with some makeup and maybe Geoff doens't wanna admit that his daughter is developed and tweeting in outfits that don't look out of place in some pornhub video but every smart public person doesn't allow their kids to pull off this shit, and after this week I would be the Internet Lumberjack if I was Geoff and tell her to stop this shit as inocuos it might look for her. Just imagine what should he be thinking knowing that Milie and Ryan were at the same room at times.
On the one hand, I wholeheartedly agree with you.
On the other hand, I've heard from perfectly decent loving fathers that trying control a teenage daughter in this day and age is like hearding a cat. He could do the whole "As long as you live under this roof, young lady!" thing, but it's gonna cause a lot of obnoxious resentment ("I HATE YOU! I WISH I WAS NEVER BORN!" *slams bedroom door*).
Fucking teenage hormones.
I dunno. I feel so underqualified to comment on this. Thank God I never had a teenaged daughter.
If people made deep fake porn of her and he didn't immediately go to the police and force her off of all social media, I doubt his ability as a father. Granted, he is divorced, and his ex-wife seems to be the type who would encourage her to be a "Proud Slut!" or something.
And then there's this too.
It's shit like this on the subreddit that just mean it's gonna be an endless cycle of garbage. It's all hugs and comfort, but no real hard stance taken. For the people bringing the truth to light, they get banned. RT is just a dumpster fire at this point, what a waste of 10 years spent following the company

Two observations:
1. I think Warner Media should laugh this idiot for saying redditors own AH and RT. I get what he's saying, but the way he's saying it is so autistic.
2. This whole hugbox thing further underscores what I said about people knowing.
"We're a tight knit community, and we support and love one another... BUT NOBODY HAD ANY IDEA WHAT THE FUCK WAS GOING ON WITH RYAN! SERIOUSLY!"
Maybe I'm misremembering, but I thought that was something Chuck Huber said in a dumbass attempt to defend Vic?
Vic stated, without elaborating, that he was seeking the help of a counselor to work on some character failings. There was some speculation that the counselor was a lawyer, but given the subject matter context of the paragraph, and when it was written, I am inclined to think not. That came much later.
Huber's sworn affidavit says that he had advised Vic to speak to said counselor about sex addiction.
See Huber Affidavit
, ¶ 70. I don't know if that's actually one of the things he spoke to the counselor about. Vic is under no obligation to disclose that. There's confidentiality laws concerning counselors.
Then we had that whole gay proposal from Huber saying that if Vic agreed to being a sex addict, Marchi and Rial would recant their statements and we could all kiss and make up.
See Id. at ¶ 68. Nobody seemed to like that idea.
My whole point here is the "counseling" thing doesn't really buy you much support from others that are out to get you. It's not gonna help Ryan. It's something somebody should do for
themselves. Not to get in the good graces of anybody.
That Vic likes sex was never really in dispute. That he resorted to unlawful means to get, or assaulted women, was. Sole exception to that is that he copped to hiring a prostitute (he said so during his deposition). That's technically illegal, but nobody really cares.
Now comes Ryan, and his adventures with 17 year olds...
