TL;DR eternal_napalm, long-time paypig who is known to be ban-happy and has had the bigger part of his tongue up DSP's colon for years, timed someone out who was having a discussion about CoD. Madara_is_god_ didn't agree and unbanned him and then they argued about it in chat, unbanning and re-banning the dude, with eternal_napalm threatening to take it up with DSP, claiming Madara was warned before. Chat 100% sided with Madara, making eternal_napalm butthurt.\

The chatter that was timed out initially seems like a genuine fan, btw, as opposed to known chat troll elon_jusk, who was mocking him:

as soon as he finds out you need to gamble to upgrade characters, he'll soap-box quit the game, claiming to be some martyr against predatory mechanics

I can honestly see him doing just that. He's gotten on his soap box in the past about mobile games, admitting that he spent too much time and money playing them. But he concluded by saying that he knows better now and doesn't play them like he did before (this was before he claimed to have stopped playing all mobile games which coincided with Khet was moving in). Reminds me of an old Ask the King where he gets on his soap box about credit cards, warning his fans of the dangers of racking up charges with no plan on how to pay them back. Apparently he funded an entire Evo trip using credit cards when he was unemployed and carried that debt around for years. He concludes by saying that he learned his lesson and wouldn't ever do it again. 6 years later he's filing for bankruptcy with 6 figures of credit card debt.

TL;DR eternal_napalm, long-time paypig who is known to be ban-happy and has had the bigger part of his tongue up DSP's colon for years, timed someone out who was having a discussion about CoD. Madara_is_god_ didn't agree and unbanned him and then they argued about it in chat, unbanning and re-banning the dude, with eternal_napalm threatening to take it up with DSP, claiming Madara was warned before. Chat 100% sided with Madara, making eternal_napalm butthurt.\

He just broke down upcoming serious expenses this week. He has to buy Amnesia, and then he may be charged $100 for those PS5 headphones on Saturday. Keep in mind that his 'bank account' is supposed to cover stuff for the new consoles - he just said that. And Amnesia is not $600, contrary to what PigMath would have you believe.

He then said "This is the life of a streamer, you know... it sucks." Then caught himself and said that was a joke, his life is awesome and thanked everyone for all their support this year.

He's out of control and is clearly going in on the begging with no concept of what he needs to say other than 'I need tips'. I don't know that I could tell you what someone winging it with begging would look like, but I think it looks like this.

Leave it to a Mature Adult with a Business Degree to not even know how the fuck supply and demand work.

DSP has known for months that he needs to budget for these consoles. He has known for months, and, to be honest, a streamer with standards would probably be prepping for any console drop with stuffed away cash a year ahead of the launch. He has received hundreds of dollars every day combining tips, cheers, and gift subs. Even if he had to spend a premium on ebay or whatever, let's call it 600 bucks. That's like three normal days of streaming for him. I just... I don't understand how anyone can see this and not recognize how patently absurd this is. Where is all the fucking money going, Phil?
