I can't wait to reveal that I was actually molested by Geoff Ramsey while everyone at Roosterteeth watched.

Honestly, it's all downhill from here. Same stuff happened with Channel Awesome where you have an organization that's so bloated with secrets that any allegation against them can instantly be construed as true because their reputation has gone down the drain.

Who's next, mega64?

I don't know how much I believe Geoff that no one knew about Ryan, but I'm at least willing to accept that he probably didn't. Gotta say, if no one else at RT is a freak of the week like Ryan, I feel really bad for them; they're going to be under an insane amount of scrutiny for weeks, maybe even months to come. I really don't know how RT is gonna come back from this one.
I tend to believe that most if not all didn't know. Maybe had suspicions. I think if Ryan had been single they all would probable have known but since he is married and cheating on his wife he probably kept it on the DL. I personally don't know anybody, friend or co-worker, that openly brags about committing adultery. That's also probably how this situation went down.

There's knowing or suspecting adultery and then there's whatever the fuck Ryan is.

I've known co-workers who have cheated on their spouse; but I've never in my life thought to tell said spouse. It's not my place and I honestly just don't care. It's their life, not mine, and I'm not getting involved. THAT'S the mentality that I'm sure a lot of people at RT who knew about Ryan's cheating thought. I've said it before, but I think what hurt AH so much was that they may have suspected cheating, but they never suspected the absolutely havoc Ryan would leave in his wake. Cheating on your wife with another adult is whatever, cheating on them 20+ fans you manipulated and a few underaged girls is a whole different thing.

with no dancing around issues or dodging questions.
That's Geoff's way though. For anyone who has been a watcher of RT content, they know this. Geoff has admitted to shitting himself, pissing himself, being a drunk alcoholic, being a sometimes shitty father, having ED, having depression, having insomnia, and a load of other things from his past. He has never hidden it. I can absolutely believe that him and Griffon tried polyamory as a last ditch effort to save their marriage - they already admitted to trying a LOT of really freaky shit. And again...adults with other adults is nothing.

Ryan's biggest mistake was going after girls under 18. No one would have cared otherwise.

Same. It's very easy by the way all of them talked about Ryan and how Ryan presented himself that it's very easy to not know anything. I think the hotel thing was the closest to them probably figuring something was wrong but nothing akin to this. They probably thought unhappy marriage especially after Ray said "Sounds like a cry for help" in that one off-topic video.

I was only half joking when I said I wanted dirt on Meg to come out.

It's <current year> people! Woman can be sex pests too!

I am not saying any of these people owed a duty to Laurie.

I'm just saying I think they're full of shit when they say they didn't know about the infidelity. Negrate me if you want, but I simply don't believe Jack's claim of total ignorance. Whether that makes him a shit person is another matter entirely. I agree he did not owe a duty to tell Laurie. If anybody says he did, they're being ridiculous. A marriage is a private contract between two consenting adults.

I don’t believe anybody, especially Geoff, would’ve willfully ignored Ryan actually fucking teens and near teens. If nothing else, somebody else’s secret isn’t worth your career, reputation and company, in particular a subordinate like Ryan was to Geoff and Jack. Now that community manager that spontaneously quit? Somebody like that might. Somebody like Dunkelman might out of shear intuition(i.e. *wink, wink*), but the place was run like a frat chapter for years. And I mean from the top down. I worked for a company that had this weird infidelity wave sweep through it once, due to management being involved, and people know. Nothing’s less subtle than a person that thinks they got away with something Scott free. Hence Ryan dropping hints and having meaningful connections with cupcakes on camera.

Damn...I'm gone for a few days and we're up to 13.
That's sad.
And hilarious.
It will never stop, now that people have found their next punching bag it's go go go time.
I wonder if Ryan will pull an Weinstein and pretend to be crippled for sympathy?

The marriage license is in Walton County Florida.

Would also like to note that the "PleaseR" twitter accounts are indeed NOT Ryan.

Thanks.
Nice find! I originally brought up that I couldn't find their marriage license in TX or GA. I don't recall Ryan ever talking about time living in Florida. Might be worth digging through public records for FL like I did TX and GA.

Does anybody know if Ray has commented on this whole situation?
I would assume not. At this point if you’re Ray you should be doing everything to distance yourself from AH/RT. Made worse by the old RR connection (Ryan and rays team in various games-became a shirt because AH and slightly funny quotes = shirt cash cow). Side note that’s funny: the shirt was Ryan & Ray hanging out of either side of steam train. Combining Rays famous “fuck train has no brakes” with this and the fact being Ryan’s fuck train not only had no brakes but fucking derailed completely is perfect .

In Weinstein's defense, pulling the cripple card was his backup plan. His first move was to announce that he would be spending the rest of his life trying to destroy America's oldest civil rights organization, the NRA. But when his fellow Hollywood leftists didn't bite, he moved on to needing a walker. One of the few times ever, that flat out virtue signaling didn't work.

I was only half joking when I said I wanted dirt on Meg to come out.

More than anything, I'm still fairly convinced that Meg knows more than she's letting on. Her and Gavin's statements were super vague and clearly drafted by a PR agent, and Meg's in particular was so vague that she never even decried Ryan in it - all her statement said was "guys trust me I had no idea lol, thanks for watching my streams!" Like... is that really the thing to say when you find out that your coworker is a serial cheater and sexual predator? Why would you deny any knowledge of the doings right out the gate when a) no one else was doing that, and b) no one even suspected you of any wrongdoing?

I maintain that I think she knew about his cheating, and/or was having an affair with him herself; I'm like 80% sure of the latter, but maybe 60% on the former. Ryan was lying out the ass, so it's possible that even if they were having an affair, she sincerely didn't know he was fucking underage fans, too.

I find it so fucking hillarious that so many women have come forward publicly for ass pats from random internet strangers yet NONE of them even thought of privately telling his wife.

And how would you propose they do that? The average teenager/young adult doesn't have access to the tools needed to get someone's personal information, and on top of that, Ryan's wife was deliberately uninvolved in the RT world. We're still unclear if that was her choice or Ryan's, but she seems to be a fairly private person, so I'm thinking it was likely her choice to keep out of the spotlight. So it's not like her socials were plastered everywhere and these girls could have easily told her what was going on. Most people didn't even know her name before all this stuff started happening.

Geoff is not the only RT employee now facing additional scrutiny. Trevor Collins is also facing renewed (false and not believable) accusations from his ex-gf Emily that he was abusive and having to address them. Trevor is dating Barbara.

It's hilarious watching RT fans twist themselves into pretzels trying to justify why all the women, age 17-40, who came out against Ryan are victims, but Geoff's women aren't.

Fool me for thinking part of the reason Ryan was a creepy scumbag was that he was going after fans, like he needed his sexual partners to idolize him and be willing to do whatever he wanted - and fans wayyy younger than him at that (he was age ~36-39 going after girls in their late teens and 20s). So much for the power imbalance lol. Geoff was just going through a really tough time, everybody, and the best way he in his 40s knew to cope with it is sexting and fucking fans nearly 20 years younger than him. Poor Geoff. He had no choice! And he stopped afterward so if you think about it, it's like it never happened!

It's nice to have someone from this company put out such a candid statement that doesn't read like corporate bullshit. Geoff's a skilled writer - you know, having been a journalist and all - and this is 100% his voice, with no dancing around issues or dodging questions. I really respect that.

lol dawg, he danced around the whole being accused - with hotel room pics - of sleeping with fans. He minimized it as just "flirting" with "women who were familiar with Rooster Teeth" and gave a sob story about his unhappy marriage to evoke sympathy (where have I heard that tactic before?)

I wouldn't have noticed if it hadn't been Ryan's #2 victim (the one who was 17) pointing this very thing out herself:

edit: adding (archive)

Pretty important to note and reiterate here:
Ryan accuser #2 is confirming that Ryan said he was aware that Geoff was sleeping with fans.

It'll be entertaining to see RT fans and victims tear each other apart over this :story:

Where was it said that the fans he was talking to were 20 years younger? I'm not going to do any mental gymnastics to defend any of these fuckers, but I would like to see more of what you're talking about.

Okay, that's actually extremely fucking important. This probably should've been at the forefront of the Geoff story; we have a corroboration from one of the most compelling and trustworthy accusers that we've seen thus far, who also has no reason to lie if Geoff is innocent. If Ryan was talking to Geoff about this, then certainly Geoff had to have heard Ryan's stories, as well. Something's not sitting right about this...

I hate that I know this but I remember Ryan mentioning in a video that he and his wife lived in Tampa before they moved to Corpus Christi because his wife did her residency there.

How do you think 99% of the world operates? Not everyone is a fucking z-list internet celebrity yet people always find a way to contact a wife/husband so that they are aware their spouse is fucking around on them.

Ryan said please stop harrassing my family, which means that a lot of people have somehow easily found a way to contact his wife and tell her. People have facebook/instagram/literally any public social media and can easily find someone's name and shoot them a message.

Also, the implication that all of the 'victims' were teenagers. He was an equal opportunity predator, that went after literally anyone who was emotionally vulnerable.
