What's this about people attacking section 230 again?

Since all of social media were trying to DFE by deleting anything and everything related to the initial Biden leaks, people are speculating whether this will lead to 230 being repealed or restricted, leading to sites like KF being left to the wolves. It won't, just like how Net Neutrality ending didn't make people pay extra to access certain sites (like a cable/SAT package subscription), and how Article 13 didn't prosecute people for making/posting memes with copyrighted content.

Null worries about these things, and he certainly isn't wrong in doing so, but I sincerely doubt Twitter and Facebook will be nuked by Trump, nor do I think that the government will suddenly strip sites like KF of freedom of speech rights or take them down. Dorsey and Zuckerberg aren't saints, but they're also much lower on the totem pole. Trump would rather have Pelosi and Schumer grilled at a hearing than those two dweebs. They're just the catalyst for data-mining and disinformation campaigns, but without them, nothing changes. I got a laugh out of reading the article (archive). A couple anonymous sources at the NY Post didn't like it? I'm not sure where it is he was going to pick it up but I have to imagine there's some kind of exceptional circumstance that wouldn't just allow him to simply receive the contents of the drive via the web. This YT video linked several pages ago strongly implies that the FBI agent in charge of the ongoing case is a part of a dedicated C.P unit.

Forgive me as I'm on no sleep right now but could there potentially be a connection between the need to pick up a physical copy (as opposed to a file transfer online) and the allegations that some of the HDD's contents are even more sinister than what we've seen reported? I'm trying to wrap my head around just what kind of unique circumstances would call for being required to pick up an actual physical copy. If he has the contents of the drive, then he has them, regardless of whether he collected it in person or not.
