General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

she associates Lakitu with the scene where the aliens blow up the White House.

You know I kinda see it.

Like most shit made in China, the anti's plans didn't work. Actual fan spam made it look like they weren't even there.
Love it when the Mainland Chinese start shit on youtube or on any other mainstream site. None of those niggers are meant to be on youtube, or most sites that people use. That shit is banned in China. All these guys have to VPN to get around their government block just to try and enact some master plan for the good of the CCP.

I really wish I could see and read their reactions. I think it would be funny to see how their plan was completely ineffective considering the rest of the fucking world's fans were there.

Glass hearted bugmen have no concept of solidarity. That's why they readily believe fake-ass rumors that Hololivers secretly hate each other behind the scenes. Fubuki is incredibly based for standing with her comrade despite being the one with the most to lose. Her actions demonstrate that she is serious when she said that she would be the first to advocate for her fellow idols.

If they cared so much they should support them on bilibili, far as I can tell they are royally pissed because the entire fandom went against them and nothing they tried worked yesterday

Maybe they should move to Taiwan :^)

Honestly, at this point, I’m just waiting for the anime announcement. Because I guarantee you at least a couple of them will get one. Like a slice of life Idolmasters or something

They have one but is with their 3D models, Holo no graffiti

Now that Hololive's doing well after a string of really bad drama the dust has settled AND the elite shrine maiden is returning very soon from her maternity leave, Nijisanji stepped up when it comes to drama and scandals.
One of their new livers, Kingyozaka Meiro, who has made her debut just 3 months ago, seems to have been fired graduated for breach of contract. The Keemstar of vtubers Narukami made a video a few days ago speculating that the drama has to do with another Nijitoober Roa bullying Meiro into dropping her accent because it sounded too similar to hers and the management supported Roa. Neither Ichikawa nor Roa have said anything about this and people are demanding answers, Roa's archive of the latest stream has been negrate bombed. This was not handled well by Ichikawa.
Curious to see how this will develop. In all likelihood people will just forget about it in a few months.

As said above, Chinese fans shouldn't even be allowed to watch YouTube according to the laws of their country. Fuck them, not only regarding this, but any complaints they have about any banned site and how users treat them. You are not meant to be on that site bugman, if you were such a good Chinese citizen, you would follow the laws enacted by the government you support so fervently.

She apparently apologized to her Chinese viewers and got really emotional at one point. Have to wait for the translation to know exactly what was said.
This just reflects nicely on Haato. Even in spite of the terrible shit these Mainlander fucks said, she still felt the need to apologize when she didn't have to or need to. Not even in a customary Japanese sort of way, either. Beneath the memes, she really is a kind person. Which makes what the Mainlanders did all the more fucking despicable.

Sora already had an anime/TV show...

The twitchcast that pissed off antis was done well before she'd even had the chance to audition. A lot of the antis' justification was they felt that Aloe was using a (at the time) recently graduated nijisanji vtuber (Chitose) to badmouth the industry and fandom.

Shame that their moved their asses to late, if they did the same stuff they are doing now but for aloe maybe she would be still with us

Edit: readed the entire thing, Cover is going full petulant child and refuse to admit it was their fault instead they blame the managers for no telling Coco to not repeat the same mistake after Haato did it, not a single mention of the nuclear fuck up of the bilibili announcement

"appropiate speech" my ass
Their official statement on the nuclear fuckup was on reddit a while ago. Yagoo took responsibility for it by having his salary cut and they stated they acted in haste since Coco was getting legit doxxed by CN nationalists (to be fair, Coco ain't hard to find and it's known she's Kson) and sent a ton of death threats. The bilibili statement was meant to satisfy the Chinese government (which it did) but it also riled up their shitty citizens.

As for the Aloe shit, unfortunately nothing could be done about that. From everything I hear, Aloe herself was one of their youngest members (I think she was 19? Only Sora and Haachama are possibly younger) and took everything that happened really hard, which got worse when people organized a support group for her since her detractors just stepped up their efforts to drown out the support. She still hasn't fully recovered and has basically dropped off the Internet for a while. Maybe one day she comes back under a new name or, since the option is there, returns as Aloe.
