Unpopular opinions about food

Let me.clarify: I get bored eating large, 14oz plus steaks, no matter how well aged and cooked.
Bruh, that's basically the full mass of what your meal should be. 6 - 8 ounces is more than enough for a steak (seasoned however you like; I personally enjoy salt, pepper, garlic, onion, and an herb like parsley or rosemary). Cut that shit in half and pair it with some nice roasted vegetables and that helps a lot.

And yeah, I tend to prefer steaks with a slightly more varied flavor mix than salt and pepper. It isn't a delicate meat like fish, and actually can take and complement a decent blend of spices and herbs.

Idk where to put it, so: shout-out to cranberry confiture I made, as only a single spoon gave me heartburn strong enough to level cities with.

Mom ended eating it and said I was dumb and fucked up...as it was not old-timey bag-of-sugar-with-berries-for-color gunk she was used to.

Too much acid can do that, so maybe adding more sugar is not exactly wrong, especially when making anything out of cranberries.
Also, Russian cranberries can be a tad bitter when not washed-picked out-heated up properly, so I feel your pain and wish you luck in future tries.
