So I heard an actual pedo got unearthed from Funi and my god is he butt ugly.
That being said I'm gonna reiterate what I said on Twitter here. I saw ANN and a few others try to reach out to some of the victims and I hope they're smart enough to not talk to them unless they've gone to the authorities and/or gotten a lawyer.
These people are not there to protect victims.
ANN wants a juicy headline for traffic to their site, and likely to feed info back to Funi.
Funi wants to wash their hands of responsibility first, and then address the victim. They are not acting in the best interests of any victims.
I mean I'm not gonna go out there and tell people what to do but I hope they're smart enough to not fall for bullshit.

Voice actors are the Z list and about as far as you can get from a Hollywood star or a Rock star, but because of their accessibility via cons and mall signings, they are about as close as Jennifer from Yankton, South Dakota will ever get to the bright lights of Hollywood. Add that they don't even have to be good looking, they are associated with the characters they voice.
These teen girls (or boys) aren't lusting over Vic, they are seeing Edwin Elric. Vic is just the vessel.
You can guarantee that if Vic had illicit encounters with half the numbers he is accused of, there would be binders full of texts, photo's, names, etc. The twitterverse would have gone ham.
Vic, since he was a young boy, has always acted, wanted to be an actor or performer.
He is one of those who truly is talented and loved his craft. The adulation that came with it, seems to almost embarrass him.

I'd make the argument that, especially in the past few years, people actually like Vic for Vic, gay pants and all.
For one he genuinely listens to people, or pretends to so well it's indistinguishable.
There's also the fact he's openly Christian. Can you imagine being a Christian weeb (already pretty marginalized) and you see your favorite voice actress maligning all things religious on social media? And then you have almost-minister Vic. You can relate with him more.
I don't think he's as open with it, but he's a political conservative. With the rampant TDS in the anime community, not just with the VAs, but with fellow fans, it's s relief to find someone who won't dump a milkshake on you for saying "gee, orange man isn't really all that bad."

Tinfoil hat time but I'm beginning to suspect that a fair few people obviously knew there was a large selection of scumbags congregating there, sat back and waited and once they smelled blood in the water with regards to Vic they tried to drive the knife in.
They naturally would assume because of the sheer amount of sexpests slithering around RT and Funimation that there had to be an army of victims to come forward to take out there biggest fan draw competition but instead theres just a lot of fabrication, unsubstantiated rumour and down right fantasist liar's.
Their deafening silence now that under-age victims ARE coming forward is very telling.

Remember, this is the kind of person who diddled all day long while he worked for Funi and they didn't care in the least. Somehow, they managed to find the time to devastate and destroy the reputation of a man who did nothing wrong at all. At the same time as shielding this guy.
And never even mind Weebstein of the casting couch at Okratron. And somehow Weebstein, that is to say Chris Sabat, happens to run that very casting couch. I hope that motherfucker does not expect to get out of this whole mess unscathed, because that shit is not going to happen.

This to me is the most enjoyable part of this whole saga. They're stuck between a rock and a hard place.
