Most governors are banning trick or treating. Not sure he would be allowed to hand out candy even if they wanted to.
I know this isn't going to be received well, but if he's in a Halloween decoration outdo your neighbor contest of sorts, does this not show he has enough energy to do things, he just doesn't want to make videos? He's into Halloween and dealing with irl right now and seems to be having twitter conversations and getting his views out, but doesn't want to make videos. Just change your Subscribestar description to: 'Making tweets, giving updates about my life, not making videos.' It's not great, but at least it would be an honest description about what people are paying for. Doesn't mean he didn't put out good videos, but he did become what he was against - a boomer in the twilight of the creator arc making tweets instead of content, talking about their irl life, giving medical updates, not just telling people asking for vids that he is done making videos, not calling out friends doing crappy stuff, not riding off into the sunset when he was so vocal that he would do so..

I am going to tell you something, based on personal and professional experience, and you can either believe me or not:
Jim making fun of schizophrenic individuals on Internet Insanity, who say outrageous things, is not the worst thing that can or has happened to them. There is a very shitty system in this country that has failed these people, mainly through neglect, and I think Jim grasps that (based on his comments in the Terry Davis video). Moreover, they are funny. God help me, but anybody who claims otherwise is a liar. Every video you posted to suggest the person featured didn't have a video coming is somebody who has, or could have, a thread here on the Farms. You need to let that last point sink in. Of course nobody is inclined to criticize Jim just for talking about lolcows. Fucking duh.
I don't think you're being negrated and thread bannned because you are criticizing Jim. I myself have said Jim has turned into Spoony. Other people here have said that too. Clearly he has taken a turn for the worse within the past two years or so, and I don't see a single person here arguing otherwise. I think you're being negrated and thread banned because you are acting retarded and seem to have forgotten which site you're on.

Not interested in defending Jim (like I said before, my only "loyalty" to him is that he's been consistently entertaining to me) but assuming all the health shit is true, under these circumstances, I too would prefer to spend time with my loved ones doing pleasant seasonal things than sitting down to record a video.
And who knows, maybe the pituitary and brain things have affected his voice or his capacity to speak. He's always had this thing where he'd start-stop sentences, go "aah" then repeat them partially. Maybe it was a symptom all along and it's gotten worse.
But you're absolutely right that, if he's gonna be more open and transparent by tweeting a lot about this, then he should put a clear disclaimer that he's not making videos anymore (even if it's just for the foreseeable future), particularly for his paypigs.

I know Jim has changed a fair bit over the years but it feels so odd seeing him indulge in himself and talk about the operations/medical issues so much and openly. Not that I have an issue with it, just feels like the older Jim would have kept it closer to his chest, it's understandable though hitting this point and just wanting to let loose.

That could possibly be attributed to not knowing what exactly he's afflicted with. The guy is understandably shaken and that probably won't calm until he has answers.
If he had a definitive diagnosis and outlook, it stands to reason that he would just accept it and not have much to talk about.

Jim's finding out what I did about medical care in the US - things are all fucked up. I was misdiagnosed 3 times in 4 days for a minor problem and things only got straightened out because I stayed on top of it like Jim is doing. I actually had to tell my primary care physician to run a certain test which got to the bottom of things. If I had gone along with the program, I'd have wasted time and money going to specialists for no reason.
Doctors today are using a cookbook method where they follow directions spit out by an expert system. Test data determines what the program tells the doctor to do. There's a lot of pressure from the legal departments in hospitals to follow the protocol. The way the system works now, you can spend weeks on wild goose chases. I had to pay for the test I wanted because it wasn't in the fucking protocol. Good luck to Jim, he's fighting cancer and a broken system full of the kind of idiots he's always railed against.

Honestly not that it matters. If I get locked out the thread I get locked out, Jim gets shielded from mean jokes but no protection from his actual face leaks in dox being posted here, and life goes on. I will just laugh at the irony of it to myself.

Most of the hate seems to be that Jim makes fun of someone they like. Nine times out of ten its got something to do with the Skeptics, and how Jim wouldn't save the West with them.
I mean Jim's an asshole but taking online drama too seriously is why this shit sounds like a broken record.
If there is some new information that Jim is doing some underhanded stuff then someone should post it.
We already know Jim won't make a new video.
We already know Jim hasn't shut down his Subscribe Star.
We already know Jim is an e-celeb asshole.

I think that one thing I share in common with a lot of the other posters in this thread is that Jim's content was consistently entertaining to me. As with any other content creator though, whatever the reason may be, they're not going to make content forever. I think regardless of what happens to Jim with his current health condition I'm not expecting him to be making any new content anymore. Others have pointed out that Jim seems to have become a Spoony type figure, and I tend to agree to an extent. I don't think he's done nearly as much over-promising as Spoony did (which is why his hiatus hasn't antagonized his fans as much), but as I see it he's just going to coast off of the rest of his Subscribestar money and ride off into the sunset.

That's been an impetus for a lot of shit flinging, but some of the shit flung has been especially ridiculous. Now we're talking about Jim having made fun of genuinely SMI people on Internet Insanity, and how that's retroactively problematic.
I've worked with parents of adult children with severe schizoaffective disorder, and they have straight up admitted they have had to stifle their own laughter over some of the wacko shit that comes out of their kid's mouths. Terry A. Davis type shit. I'm talking about the PARENTS. People who love them and raised them. THEY laugh. Our humor is not really outside the norm here. The abnormality is in pretending it's not funny.
Druid Focket is funny. Brian Connors is funny. The gangstalking nuts are funny. I don't hate them, and I hope they can get some help, but they're still fucking funny. I think there's a group of people who still don't grasp that you don't have to hate the cow.
The other half of Internet Insanity was the people you are apt to hate. Nick Bate, Randy Stair, and maybe Game Dude to a lesser extent. Nobody brings up them to go after Jim, and it's easy to see why.
This might seem a bit harsh, but what George was arguing here might actually play better over on ResetERA than KF. He could tug on their heartstrings with how Jim "hates" disabled people.
TL;DR: I am not against criticizing Jim, but this thread needs better posters willing to criticize Jim, if anything.

I agree with this 100% and that’s why he’s an autism magnet. It seems most people who alog him are mad that he mocked diaper furries, skeptics, or some content creator they like. I’ve seen a few flip out at him even if he actually likes the thing he’s joking about. Like who cares if someone makes fun of something you like? (Autists of course). Inevitably something you like will be mocked by someone else. It doesn’t matter if it’s a sport, a fetish, a belief, or a hobby. Just don’t take it personally and move on.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Mr Metokur sometimes gets in slapfights or teases YouTubers whose content he enjoys. For example I’m pretty sure he’s messed with Arch; there’s a good chance he’s seen some of his videos since he’s admitted to watching in depth videos on obscure Warhammer lore. The chances he has watched in-depth videos of random 40k lore and he hasn’t watched some of Arch videos is low. You can laugh at something and enjoy it. Others can laugh at it and you can still enjoy it.
Plus he’s into anime so he probably has some really weird fetishes that he’ll never admit, even anonymously. He wouldn’t openly admit it ever but one has to wonder how he had so much knowledge on so many niche kinks...
It seems kinda straightforward to me. If you think he’s grifting, don’t pay him money. If other people want to be paypigs for someone who doesn’t make videos, that’s on them. By all means mock them for being paypigs but there’s a difference between laughing at idiots and getting your panties in a bunch. This seems to be the other category of autists that hate Jim. Basically exfans who looked up to him and more-or-less were troll shielding by laughing at others. They can’t accept that someone can’t shitpost forever and they really hate it when someone monetizes it. They also really flip out about small things. Inevitably they’d take offense with something Jim said, did, or didn’t do and make it out to be a much bigger deal then it is.
The third group of autists are those that think he’s infalliable, like some Saint of the Internet. A lot of them melted down over an old dox and dislike it when he shows any signs of being human. They want him to be some avatar or perhaps leader for some begone digital age. This group of fans would normally be the most lulzy, as it is with most YouTubers, but the other two groups of autists are so loud that they get drowned out. However, I expect this lot to sperg out if Jim really does die and pictures of him surface. Hell it’ll be hilarious if he just gets face doxed by some rando or he just reveals his face because they’ll lose it. In fact if there are embarrassing things about Jim, say it turns out he has a Tumblr or was into some weird shit, they’d probably chimp out while Jim doesn’t give a damn.

Yes some times the crazy is hilarious somethimes though...
I gave up on a guy I was friends with since highschool because it was overwhelming. He would bounce between psych wards and getting arrested. He absolutely refused to take his pills and swore up and down weed cured his mental illness when in reality it made things worse. He would constantly say disturbing sexual things that would imply incest and pedophilia. All while thinking every cop in the sate was in some kind of conspiracy against him. It was absolutely too much and a lot of his friends bailed over the years.
