The idea that teachers are uncritically or only presenting PragerU videos is absurd to me. Odds are it's a basic bitch political science class and PragerU is used as the generic "conservative belief" surrogate.

Apparently some schools had kids asked to watch a video and summarize its point for extra credit.

Lewis was immediately alarmed when she started her extra credit assignment last week. The assignment asked her to watch PragerU videos and then answer questions about how the videos challenged her beliefs. She had hoped to use the assignment to tack on a few extra points to her grade after taking a test on which she suspected she performed poorly, but after seeing the videos, the teen didn’t think she could complete the homework.

Some parents inevitably sperged out and pulled their kids out of classes so the school tried compromising by also assigning left wing videos until finally giving up on the extra credit assignments altogether.

I don’t see in the article what type of class it was so it probably was something political given it’s undermine the article the most to include that sort of fact.

I fondly remember my social studies showing me a video of a Trump rally and saying "Obviously, I think it's kind of ridiculous to arm teachers-I mean, I think we know how well that'd go. But honestly, when you think about it, is the core of what he's saying that bizarre? I still remember a shooter coming into our building--the gun free-zone sign certainly didn't stop him." We had actually balanced discourse, and even though it was ridiculous, and it was Trump, so to most of the people in there, it was basically orange man bad territory, and Trump was just as inflammatory as ever.

Still had nuanced, reasonable discourse.

PragerU is the same principle. Allowing students the room to respond allows them room to develop proper critical thinking in response to said "propaganda".

Who on the left really hates on Shoe? If teachers are presenting them uncritically, then I would agree they're not really appropriate for school. Same goes for anything overtly political, that stuff should only be presented when done so for analysis or criticism. Which is probably how these were presented.
