Actually, you have to wonder if he was ever the underdog. It's possible all the polls showing him 10+ points behind were dodgy and the media thought if they repeat the lie enough it would become true.

It's so hard to tell what is actually going on once the majority of the media decide to skew their coverage one way.

Still, I guess I meant an upset in the sense that 'if you believed the media then you expected him to lose'. And looking at the media here it still seems like that.

Giuliani talked about it in July, stating he called police after the incident.
A female interviewer began the conversation in a room fitted out with a professional set-up of lights and camera with a few softball questions before, as Giuliani tells us, “This guy comes running in, wearing a crazy, what I would say was a pink transgender outfit.


“It was a pink bikini, with lace, underneath a translucent mesh top, it looked absurd. He had the beard, bare legs, and wasn’t what I would call distractingly attractive.”

Giuliani, 76, said he didn’t immediately recognize the gate-crasher as Cohen: “This person comes in yelling and screaming, and I thought this must be a scam or a shake-down, so I reported it to the police. He then ran away.”

The picture looks embarrassing but it's hard to say without seeing the footage. Giuliani didn't seem too concerned about what happened in the hotel room other than being weirded out by some guy running into the room.

Movie is supposed to come out the 23rd, I doubt we'll get a clip for context before the release. Really gay if it's just Rudy thinking a 24 year old is a 24 year old, then Borat runs in saying she's younger.... And that's it.

Edit: Real question is where is the video of old ass Rudy trying to impersonate Borat?

Eh, I can see some strategy in dropping it later.

Team Biden gets to spend all day trying to figure out what exactly is coming, meaning they have to burn resources on several strategies. And dropping the info late afternoon/early evening, Team Biden has less time to respond and prepare for tomorrow's debate.

This may also be a final olive branch as others have speculated, giving Biden a last chance to dip out before things get real hot, but I doubt this part.

Didn't find out, but apparently people are furious at her for using COVID time to learn how to play guitar, so whatever.

If that's for a movie, wouldn't they have better footage than that? The movie is being released this weekend, so the full footage soon enough.

Zuckerberg tried to portray this whole issue as “choices…around free expression.” That is ludicrous. This is not about limiting anyone’s free speech. This is about giving people, including some of the most reprehensible people on earth, the biggest platform in history to reach a third of the planet. Freedom of speech is not freedom of reach. Sadly, there will always be racists, misogynists, anti-Semites and child abusers. But I think we could all agree that we should not be giving bigots and pedophiles a free platform to amplify their views and target their victims.

Second, Zuckerberg claimed that new limits on what’s posted on social media would be to “pull back on free expression.” This is utter nonsense. The First Amendment says that “Congress shall make no law” abridging freedom of speech, however, this does not apply to private businesses like Facebook. We’re not asking these companies to determine the boundaries of free speech across society. We just want them to be responsible on their platforms.

But social media companies are largely protected from liability for the content their users post—no matter how indecent it is—by Section 230 of, get ready for it, the Communications Decency Act. Absurd!

Fortunately, Internet companies can now be held responsible for pedophiles who use their sites to target children. I say, let’s also hold these companies responsible for those who use their sites to advocate for the mass murder of children because of their race or religion. And maybe fines are not enough. Maybe it’s time to tell Mark Zuckerberg and the CEOs of these companies: you already allowed one foreign power to interfere in our elections, you already facilitated one genocide in Myanmar, do it again and you go to jail.
