If she's insinuating her music is even close to Andrew WK's I think I might need to puke.

Rani, get your tranny ass away from the good music.

Honestly though, I do want to see her at the Gathering of the Juggalos. I'm sure they'll be respectful of her.

Gender Studies is the worst class in the history of human endeavor, and I would not recommend it to anyone.
My free-bleeding radfem alter ego B♀LDYSPICY would like a word with you.

Seriously, though, when I took Gender Studies, we spent an equal amount of time discussing masculinity & speculating why things are the way they are. I guess if I could sum it up in a sentence, it's "patriarchy hurts men, too." We had a lengthy discussion about circumcision, too. It was pretty wild. So I'd say it's pretty good when it's done right. A man also taught our class, too.

It's coded masculine marketing.

EDIT: OH MAN I JUST NOTICED

Hey, pencil grips. That's actually bringing back a few memories of my Assistive Tech class.

That one was a fun one, since the last project involved you being given a scenario involving a kid with special needs, and you had to design a piece of tech that would both be useful for a behavior and be within a feasible budget for either the parents or yo' po' butt as a teacher. I remember one of my classmates, who liked to dabble in pottery I think, made a mock-up of one of these pen grips for her final project. They're useful for younger kids and those that have mild physical disabilities, since the fatter and rubbery grip made holding pencils easier and thus less frustrating.

Seeing a person shriek about the curvature of a bottle is bottom of the barrel. I really am curious to see what that person's idea of feminine marketing is when it comes to the shape of an object. I must get a better explanation of this autism.

Hey Rani, you can't ''stalk'' someone who posts public posts online willingly, who then allows themselves to possibly receive criticism over their words and actions.

Stalking is a criminal offense. If we were stalking you and your friends, you have the full right to report us to the police. But, obviously, you can't report us for stalking because so far, every word posted online by you and Chloe were public, and therefore, they become vulnerable to criticism. And also, cops have more stuff to do other than worrying about your feelings on the computer. Just saying.
<off topic>This reminds me of another SJW I used to know. She accused me of "cyber-stalking" her because I had screencapped a couple of her more racist tumblr posts (which basically claimed "white people could relate to Satan") and shared it with the "TumblrInAction" subreddit---even though I had cropped out all information in my screencap that would identify the blog as her own. You know, a measure to protect her from a barrage of trolls, something genuine cyber-stalkers would actively encourage? But then SJWs know that appropriating anti-stalking rhetoric will make any of their online critics look like misogynistic shitlords.

Not to mention I didn't even anticipate she would ever visit that particular subreddit...</off topic>

Instead of setting up house with John in the new apartment they'll eventually get evicted out of when the patreon welfare dwindles out and the phone center lays everyone off, Ralph is busy white knuckle checking here and ED for attention.

Oh, hey Ralph, I fixed your "deadname" on ED for you.

Alright, Rani, how close are we to correctly guessing Chloe's deadname, then? :ween:

Why are they so upset about people finding their birth names? Did I miss this explanation?

I understand Doxxing I guess, but these guys seem hellbent on stoping ANYONE from using names like Ralph. Only thing that it will do is annoy the fuck out of healthcare professionals.

So I'm like 99% certain that John Paul Neumann is Chloe Sagal's deadname. The 1% comes from the high school records, which I still can't find anything of. Perhaps Chloe never finished her senior year, maybe she ended up getting a GED, I don't know, but that's the only missing link in the JPN story.

Because what's the alternative? Chloe assumed a fake name, John Paul Neumann, who is by all accounts a real person with a real history and a real family in the real town she lived. As John Paul Neumann she has referenced events Chloe has herself admitted to, such as failing out of the marines, the summer on the family farm, being a backyard wrestler, being the name donations go to for the indiegogo page, being a game designer, going to DeVry, etc.

If this is true and JPN is just another psuedonym, then she took someone who's life mirrors her own and has done her best to ruin it. John Paul Neumann, if he is another person, is now indelibly tied to charity fraud, throwing team members under the bus, and stealing money from the people he has worked with, among others. If her posts are to be believed, she has smeared a dead mans name, because after she "killed" him she shit talks this totally random other person who isn't her and never was. That's a really awful thing to do to someone!

My dear Boldy, I mean no offense towards you personally, or the number of people who actually have done something with that class as an elective, but the simple fact of the matter is that gender studies as a course (and more specifically, people who use it to justify everything they do) has essentially destroyed the viability of that major as we know it.

I may be sounding cruel here, but Gender Studies has become little more than an over-glorified indoctrination camp for the paranoid, hateful, and insane, and they've gone on to infect the bulk of mainstream academia. Gender Studies, as a course, has broken away from its noble origins and now exists solely to serve itself. It's quite literally the reason there's so many SJWs these days.

Don't believe me? Well, this is me you're talking to, so let's break out the citations.

First of all there's shit like many people considering it a more important major than any other, when it does nothing to prepare its wielders for a career as anything other than an ideologue, and has an almost infintessimally small chance of leading to an actual career.

Second there's the issue of it being used to propagate the ongoing cluster-fuckery that is SJW culture in the classroom. We've already reached the point where a feminist professor can criticize feminism and get shoved to the grindstone for daring to speak up about the culture of sexual panic that Gender Studies has directly fucking led to. All over an article that's pointing out that classes like Gender Studies are directly leading to a society where people are afraid of sexuality and are treating students like children, complete with "safe spaces" filled with play-doh, videos of puppies, soft music, pillows, and coloring books.

Have you ever taken a moment to check out DuPaul University's safety ticker? Most of the time, it's filled with innocuous goings-on of the security department, but every now and then you have shit like this:

DuPaul University Security Ticker said:
**ATTENTION DEPAUL COMMUNITY**

DATE REPORTED: SEPTEMBER 8, 2014

WHAT: BATTERY

WHERE: RACINE AND WEBSTER

WHEN: SEPTEMBER 8, 2014 1:00 A.M.

A FEMALE STUDENT WAS WALKING HOME FROM A PARTY WHEN SHE WAS APPROACHED BY A MALE IN A SILVER SUV. THE MALE EXITED THE VEHICLE AND APPROACHED THE FEMALE TO FLIRT. THE MALE THEN GAVE THE FEMALE HIS PHONE NUMBER AND GAVE HER AN UNWANTED HUG. PUBLIC SAFETY WAS ALSO INFORMED BY THE VICTIM THAT ANOTHER FEMALE HAD A SIMILAR EXPERIENCE AND MAY LATER FILE A REPORT.

That's the same kind of paranoid SJW bullshit that's inherent in academia now, and Gender Studies is directly to blame for that. Ever wonder why a scant 5 years ago, these people were all-but-unheard-of, and now it's everywhere? If you have an infestation of SJWs at your school, take a look and odds are good they've got their foot in the door thank to your local Gender Studies course. Oh, and they're pushing an angle where women and blacks always get preferential treatement because white people are so privileged, after all.

Look, I respected what this class did back when it had its shit together. No longer.

Are you aware that the last link you posted is to a neo-Nazi website? That doesn't really help your case.

I do agree that some social justice advocates have gone screaming into Oppression Olympics territory.

Fixed. It's not like I have ten other links linking to this and similar examples of the exact same thing from other sources.
That works. That's a worrying development. I wanna smack the person who came up with the idea that correcting gender/racial inequality is a zero-sum game. Why not just rotate who you call on to speak at random? My favorite professor at college, who was a feminist (but not a radfem), did that. Hell, when we were discussing the Reagan era, she gave the liberal viewpoint on it (and labeled it as such) and then had a noted conservative professor as a guest speaker to give us the conservative point of view. That's how it should be done. She did the same thing when gender studies came up (different class).

To be on topic, I think the whole deadname-is-verboten thing is recent. When I was in college, we had a transwoman in one of my classes, and she freely told us her birth name. Hell, she showed us pre-transition pictures. She also didn't define herself by the fact she was trans.

Same's true of two transpeople who were instrumental in my life.

I genuinely wonder where this crap started, so I can give them a piece of my mind.

Back on subject, the Deadname-purging seems to have only become a "thing" in the last 4 years or so.

Maybe if I were a post-transition trans*, I might worry about my birth name being used as an insult to invalidate my psychological gender. But if there are trans* people who don't have that concern for themselves, there's no point arguing with them about it.

That said, it wouldn't surprise me if "Deadname-purging" was more of a thing among post-transitions who wanted to cover something up. You know who I am talking about... ;)
