This is one of the biggest, if not the biggest fuck up from Alex yet.

Pretty sure the fuckup started when he gave moderation powers to someone with that sort of mental state in the first place. I've seen so many discords go to shit when the moderation team turns into a friends club and some sort of 'achievement' to make instead of specific capable people chosen for that ability and no other. Mental defects and a hero worshipping problem should be an automatic rejection.

That being said, Alex managed to double the fuckup by making it a problem of them, when he's the one who went ahead and empowered the dude in the first place.

To all of you saying Alex shouldn't have made a public statement, he didn't. AFAIK that screenshot was taken from his private mod channels but since that message caused a mass exodus from his mod team I assume a disgruntled mod made it public.

I wouldn’t be surprised in the slightest to find out Kris became a mod BECAUSE of his obsession with Alex. In the beginning I’m sure Alex was living off the praise and no criticism despite being a trash pile. Only after realizing just how deep the obsession ran was when he’d realized the mistake. And then in true Alex fashion, he handled it like everything else in his life: Poorly. The man broke his sex doll in under 24 hours, why I’m still surprised by his fuckups, I’ll never know.

It’s good to know the statement wasnt truly meant to be public. It was still a retarded statement to make, and I’d love if the disgruntled mods shared more screenshots of Alex being a fuck up in his hidey hole mod chat.

There's a disturbing amount of evidence that DID is usually caused by therapist abuse and DID often changes depending on what culture the patient lives in. For example, Indian media shows people with DID changing personalities when they wake up, so that's how people with DID in India act. That's not to say that DID is fake, since the culture you live in can actually cause certain conditions, but it's probably not real in the sense that it's a naturally-occuring condition like schizophrenia. Kicking somebody out because of their mental illness is just fucked though. I'm pretty sure that California prohibits discrimination on the basis of disability, so his ass is toast if the mod decides to sue.

Oh, most definitely. I didn’t want to get too off topic with DID sperging. The disorder is as fascinating as it is sad. Probably would be a non-starter as you'd have to be able to prove it was because of the potatobrain and not just being bad at the requirements. Ok everyone, the situation with Alex's moderator is a bit more complicated than that screenshot let on, and I'm in a position as someone somewhat related to Yandere Simulator who can shed more light on the situation.

Kris is mentally ill and suffers from Disassociative Personality Disorder. One of the ways his general mental illness has manifested other than DID is an extremely unhealthy infatuation with Alex, to the point that he would insert Alex into most conversations, even if he had no relevance to it whatsoever. He loved Alex, and maintained his position as a moderator even in the face of all the shit thrown at Alex. Keep in mind, this is not an infatuation with his game, but an actual infatuation with Alex himself. A lust if you will.

Alex has belittled Kris and ejected him not only from his position as a moderator, but from full access to the Discord server. This has crushed him mentally and suicide has become a very real possibility. Before this ejection Alex publicly shamed him in front of the entire moderation team and tried to get all of the other moderators on his side to agree with his judgement.

Alex did not have tact and did not conduct this conversation in private. He has caused someone with mental illness to become suicidal, and I'm honestly uncertain at the moment of how this is going to develop. It does not look good for him.

Well... He can always say "no, I did not, I was just perfecting the elimination method, where you drive your rival to suicide".
