Reminder that the punchsport pagoda mod Fatherdog, who I've seen posts in this thread talking about how great a mod he was, was a cosplaying furry who liked to LARP that he was 'a real fighter' but upon people finding his amateur record it consisted of two fights, both of which he was knocked out within seconds. When a notorious troll posted proof of all of it he was banned.
I think they need to articulate what justifies a perma. Over the last few years, admins seem to have made it up as they went along so nobody even really knows any more what is perma worthy.
The idiot gimmick posters were among the worst for gaming QCS to drive away any decent communities that formed on SA, so they should all have pineapples shoved up their urethras.
They didn't always need firm, defined rules on what was punishable, because SA was a stupid fucking comedy forum and bans were meant to be funny first, quality control second. Now, however, the only remaining users of Something Awful use the forums as a safe space rather than as an entertainment source, so they want the place to have a code of laws and a constitution and a committee of public safety, and they'll still just fucking eat each other because their twisted worldview isn't sustainable unless their social group includes a class of persona non grata that they can feel superior to and prey upon.
