I think if Trump loses to a candidate as weak as Biden, then I don't think it bodes well for the future of the Republican Party at all.

If Biden wins, then I expect Kamala to be elected in 2024. The media will make her look like nothing but perfect, and the Republican Party will have a hard time figuring out what direction to take. Plus, if Puerto Rico becomes a state and gets electoral votes. If a Trump Republican can't win, many Republicans don't want feckless neocons either and many would just stay home if that were who the nominee were again. I know I wouldn't be voting.

That's why Trump must win.
Yeah this election is really important for both political parties as Trump winning would secure a clear path for the Republicans to take in the future while the Democrats can reflect (since it shows 2016 isn't a fluke) but Biden winning will just keep Democrats on their current path while Republicans have no idea where to go.

It doesn't help that if this were a normal election year, Trump winning would be very predictable but 2020 is the clownworld year so anything can happen.

Because 2024 is already being discussed (god help us all, lol), here is an early prediction:

The Governor of Maryland, Larry Hogan, has been an idiot virtue-signaler ever since COVID happened. He made this huge deal about his Korean wife making a business deal with South Korea to get thousands of COVID tests to "own Drumpf," and he even made an appearance on Trevor Noah's show over it. For about a week, the MSM was praising him ... Then, all of the sudden, the tests he got were incomplete and missing key parts to them. Since then, nobody talks about those tests. Nobody can say whether they were usable or anything. They've just been memory-holed.

Fast forward to this past week, and this guy openly said that he didn't vote for Trump; that he voted for "Ronald Reagan" instead. LOL. What a faggot. He's not up for re-election as Governor in 2022, but I fully anticipate for him to make a Presidential Bid for the GOP now. Why else would he virtue signal like this? He's going to advertise himself as the "sensible Republican" who distances himself from Trump and who "reaches across the isle."

And I anticipate for his campaign to crash and burn, regardless of the 2020 election's outcome.

Right now, my favorite "Republican hopeful" for 2024 is Mike Pence. Easily the most electable Republican post-Trump.

I think if the Republicans can pivot the illegal immigration issue into the fact that it disproportionately affects minorities and have a hispanic (and I mean real Hispanic not fake black like Camella) VP they could do quite well. The latino vote is the future in states bordering Mexico

The only thing that gives me some hope is that Democrats were saying the same thing in 2016.

It can't be understated just how badly they reacted when Hillary lost. The sky was falling, all the blacks would be killed, all the women would be raped, all the Mexicans would be deported, so on.

I seen bits and clips of the debate.

Like when trump said how far is Seoul from the north Korean border. Little details like that show trump is actually paying attention. That he wants to do the job and takes it seriously.

Biden on the other hand .........
Called Abe Licoln the most racist president in our history if I recall, it was a bit fuzzy at that point.

Bear in mind that Obama crushed McCain and Romney easily but the GOP still came back from that. The 2 party system would carry on and they would find new strategies. This is still an important election to win, though, since it would give 4 years to really flush out the critical race theory nonsense. The executive order was signed already, but it will take a while for the impact to really sink in in the long term. It's also likely there could be anti trust lawsuits against Google and other companies we hate here; people are already talking about that now, but it would give some time for that to happen.

lmao just watched the “why would you do that” highlight clip from last night

Great job on losing PA Biden lmao
God I fucking hope so.

If PA goes to Biden because the working class energy industry worker just trying to feed his family gets outvoted by suburban Karens who think that Trump is a meanie, then America deserves what it fucking gets.

*the Karens deserve what they get

The working classes of other areas and states aren't responsible for what the privileged urbanites do.

My husband watched the debate today.

The moments that stood out for him:

-"Dark Winter"
-"We had a Republican Congress ... That's the answer."
-"I will transition from the oil industry."
-"I don't see this country as Red States and Blue States ... Now let me explain why the Red States are responsible for the COVID spikes."

Guess which candidate came out as the big loser of the debate for him? lol.

I cannot find any info on Biden’s planned rallies. He needs to get his senile rear in gear, otherwise Trump will just keep shining a light on his debate lowlights from now till the third.
Someone several pages ago said that if the Biden campaign announces any lid from now until Election Day, then it may as well be a white flag and be a signal that it's over. I'm inclined to agree. Honestly, the only way Biden can win at this point is voter fraud; you can't convince me otherwise.

To be honest, based on Biden's catastrophic debate performance last night, the Dems' best course of action would be to hide him in his basement for as long as possible. The more Biden comes out of the basement, the more dumb shit he says.

Biden isn't out and about today, but I've read reports that Kamala is already out there doing damage control for Biden's comments about the oil industry.

If Trump loses it would be because of his personality or voter fraud, not the Trumpism ideology. And taking your ball and going home is kind of a cuck move to be honest.

RE: Harris campaigning. If we don't see it, the normies sure as hell don't.
