Pretty sure North Carolina has had the same thing for a long time and it has stayed red, so :optimistic: .
Blacks have low chances of getting any documentation. Unless their parents are dragging them to them the DMV, they'll likely just have an I.D. for vices and ease of access.

So which would be worse? 50 percent or extremely close or significant percentage either way?

If Trump and the GOP can pretend to treat them like mythical beings like Democrats to Blacks, then some headway can be made. Either that or we annex Cuba under a Republican presidential administration to pump the numbers up, or break a better deal to Mexico, so those resources (oil) make them and us rich (again?) and Demographics is Destiny is stalled for the moment.
The problem is that you cant annex Mexico for the same reasons they stated in the 1840s, theres no "good" part. The north is the closest to civilized but its full of (ex-)drug dealers and its notoriously difficult to keep safe because the land encourages guerilla tactics. Which makes policing a near joke and even a full on police state would be a massive waste of time and money. The south is poor even by 3rd world standards. The middle is so shit that the south and north joke about genociding them.

What little industry they have is already controlled by a small elite that would be fucked because while rich by mexico standards they're broke compared to the elite in the US or has already been brought out by other countries. The oil, mining, telecom, and banking industries are good examples. You really think Carlos Slim would survive AT&T or Verizon laying down lines and giving people an infrastructure not from the 90s?

Honestly i feel it should be the reverse, we give up Texas, new Mexico, Arizona, and south Cali and let Las Vegas be a border town. That will get rid of most spics and the left will get to enjoy the wonderful social conservatism of Mexico. I cant wait to see the celebrities do the typical salute to their new president.

This made me realize how much I miss the memes from 2016.

This election cycle hasn't been nearly as fun; in fact it's been quite miserable. Thanks, corporate censorship.
I believed his 2016 campaign to be a giant joke in order to grift his base and make bank mocking Madame president while Republicans would pretend to softly investigate Hillary Clinton. I thought at the time it was just a joke and he was in cahoots with Hillary given how he was friends with them.

However his 2020 campaign is a different ballgame. He really does remind me of 2008 Obama and I never thought I would see the GOP manage to get an actual candidate with enthusiasm rather than the boring lower taxes and personal responsibility talking points.

The question is, are they retarded, or just pretending to be retarded.

Like the Bleachbit thing from 2016.
They obviously know nothing about border politics and illegal immigration tactics.

The Dirty South (includes East portion of Texas) and Sunbelt/Southwest are doing pretty well. Texas is not all desert with nothing but oil and cattle. There's far more to our state in industry, geography, and culture than y'alls smug yankee attitudes can comprehend. Mexican-Americans here are not all sterotypical "illegal spics" that don't know English. Many of them here have family that came to Texas hundreds of years ago and fought for Texas independence with the Anglos, when we were still part of Mexico. The illegals are a problem in some spots and get deported usually, but the federal government fucked Texas over on border security. We should have never joined the Union.

Mexico isn't a total shithole, either, and their economy is already skyrocketing due to trade agreements. If the Mexican people can keep the MRN and socialist sympathizers from being totally retarded, things will keep modernizing just like the coastal cities and border cities that are doing well. Trump has never wanted to make an enemy of Mexico and realizes they can become greater than what they are. "They're not sending their best!"

You're going to have to work harder than that to convince me its difficult for anyone who wants ID in the USA to get it. Even if you don't have a driver's licence and non-DMV ID card is something like $10.

Yeah one summer during college I got a job parking cars for a Ritz Carlton. We had a lot of lot of guests and specifically affulent Mexicans. We loved parking for Mexicans, just hated the Cholos (trashy Mexican-Americans who generally didn't believe in tipping). There's a big difference between a Mexican who maybe went to Tijuana one summer on vacation & the ones that actually lived there.

The truth of the matter is the reason why Mexicans are stereotyped negatively is that the ones who tend to illegally immigrate here are the equivalent to America's white trash. They come from the dirt poor areas of Mexico and just are not well educated. The Mexicans who have wealth and/or come from the Mexican military are generally decent people. Personally I've only had good interactions with the South Americans, specifically made good friendships with Nicaraguans and Venezuelans. Coincidentally the South Americans who can make it legally to America are of good flock and they hate left wing authoritarian governments.

Someone should send this over to Nick Rekeita. It would make an interesting Watch Party before election night.

It was a golden era. I don't even think the censorship is largely at fault for the lack of content this time around, it's more to do with the fact that the people who made those memes just aren't as energetic this time around.

It's hard to make memes when Joe barely leaves his house and when he does it's to have a 20 minute speech and then immediately flee again.

Kamala Harris is just so incredibly unlikeable that she can't be memed.

Meanwhile, the Democrats are so desperate that they are pushing BORAT as a credible news source in 2020 to try to sweep the Hunter story under the rug.

It's actually getting people to endorse the Republican Senator challenger in New Mexico? If so, holy moley. Not that I think the person will win, but I have no doubt New Mexico will trend a closer race (but still one that Biden wins) than before. If oil is important in Colorado too, then that also sets the stage for it and New Mexico being competitive in 2024 and 2028 if Trump wins and Republicans keep populism as its platform. Regardless, this was a serious mistake for Biden. He could have written off his Abe Lincoln comment, the corruption, and maybe even being called out in his miserable failure of a crime bill in 1994, but there is no way he can walk back his "ban oil!" comment. Trump could get a double digit win in Texas again just for that and growing Hispanic support.

Speaking of pollsters worth looking into, worth noting that Rasmussen Reports had Clinton at a two point lead nationally the day before the election (archive) and turned out to be right on the money. Compare that to 2020. Last week had Biden five points ahead and Baris pointed out in one of his videos that he was approaching the danger zone, which is being four points ahead or less (which according to him makes a Trump win possible). He is now only leading by three points (archive) and this was before he got eviscerated on the debate Thursday. Next Wednesday will be the last opportunity we get results from Rasmussen and it will be one way to tell whenever or not undecided voters are breaking for Trump or not.

Barring something shocking or Pennsylvanian Republicans somehow getting a 5-4 majority to overturn the three day ballot counting extension before Election Day, I don't see anything else changing the race. Regardless of the outcome, the outliers will once again be closer to the actual results than most media/university pollsters.
Interesting facts about NM. It is actually more Republican in RV than in 2004 when Dubya won it.

Will it flip? My Magic 8 Ball says "Don't count on it." But if you see a Trump rally there or a Biden sighting, something is going on behind the scenes.

I am not sure about Rasmussen anymore. There is just way too many inconsistencies with their polling. Like Ohio is Biden +4 but Florida is Trump +4 while its tied nationally. Its just too volitile to make sense.
