I just wanted to add that all of this could have been avoided had @Evil Assholington the 3rd simply filed a proper DMCA notification.

The response that he received, that this is not a valid DMCA, is absolutely correct. He only told the admins "STOP HOSTING SCREENSHOTS OF MY MOD" and provided links to the mod. He did not link to any actual instances of the infringement that action could be taken on; he apparently expected the admins to do all that work for him and spend all day every day policing new uploads to make sure they did not contain screenshots using material from his mod.

He was told that his DMCA was not valid and instead of filing a proper DMCA, he just doubled down on his invalid one and was laughed at. So he came here crying that his shitty DMCA was rejected for being shitty.

“You catch more flies with honey than vinegar” is a cliche phrase but IME it really does work. If you are nice, are polite and ask people for help they are often happy to help you. If you skip over trying to work things out politely and immediately call people assholes and make demands they have no interest in giving you what you want.

noticed that Moto E box on the one shelf, guessing that's his phone. Moto cameras are not great, the E line is one of the cheaper lines so their cameras are prob worse
