I looked into best I could Cant remember where the story is other than it being a WaPo hit piece but from what I gathered he got chased out of China on corruption charges which I think means he was on the wrong side. He also allegedly stole money to start a media company. Agian from the WaPo piece. I dont know who's side hea on but I dont think its CCP, they took all his money afterall and he use to be a billionaire.
