Let’s say I know a guy who knows a guy who knows a narcissist personally. He was so much so that his wife divorced him for his narcissism, despite having so much to lose, because like all narcs he struggles with prioritizing others over himself and showing love the way that his family needed from him.
Instead he opted to buy their love, ironically putting them in financial ruin just to “show them he loved them.”
But that’s the thing...at least he tried.
Granted it was a misguided effort, but I think he genuinely did have some love for his family and he was interested in showing it. He was not interested in buying them garbage to show them how little they were worth to him. Grayg outnarcs most narcs by a landslide, so at least he’s number one at something I guess.
