Phil is just completely off the rails with the bullshit he’s feeding to his chat lately to convince them that he’s broke. Is it just that he’s running out of made-up personal disaster stories to spring on his viewers? The chargeback stuff has obviously been exaggerated from what was most likely just a handful of chargebacks. When one of his paypigs wants more details about it, it’s so obvious that he’s just making up the total amount of money that was charged back, or the amount of money that he had in his account, when it started, etc. etc. etc.

And the supposed TWELVE video games he is buying next month? I’m sorry, but we all know that Phil doesn’t pre-order games anymore. He will buy games and download them the night before, or the actual morning of release (sometimes he’s mentioned that it’s about to finish downloading during his prestream).

All of his excuses and reasons for being broke and behind-the-scenes details are so convoluted that I can’t even keep track with most of them. I wouldn’t even be surprised if confusion is the actual goal for Phil. Talk like he’s giving a lot of information, but talk in circles and misdirect to keep his viewers bamboozled to the point where most of them will just accept what he says.

I know I'm preaching to the choir here, but I just can't get over how stupid Phil must think his audience is to use such a stupid excuse as chargebacks somehow negating the money he gets from other sources. And how stupid they must really be for apparently buying it. If Phil gets $1000 in cheers and $1000 in tips, and then the tips get charged back, he still made $1000. He didn't lose the money, it was never really his to begin with. It's like, someone writes me a check, I go to the bank to cash it, but it bounces. That sucks, but I didn't actually lose money. And also in this analogy I made ten thousand dollars last month, yet I spend several hours every day at an intersection with a cardboard sign that says "About to be evicted - Huge medical bills - Starving wife and son - PERSONAL CHECKS VASTLY PREFERRED"

It's all part of the grift.
Phil is an extremely entitled person [see Wolverine toy story]. He even goes as far as saying people that chargeback are thieves and criminals despite him having a history of not doing things he's been paid to do. The same person who empties his Paypal account after stream, gets a couple of chargebacks which put him in the red, and then goes on stream the next day saying he has 0 dollars in his account.

I genuinely don't think his fans are stupid enough to believe his "outta money" stories anymore, especially since they continually question him about it during the stream. Just yesterday he was saying he "worked" for 3 days and only made $150 (obvious lie) because of the chargebacks, so he needs the paypigs to give him the rest of what he was "owed" for those streams. In other words, if you tip Phil and charge it back, someone else has to vouch him that same amount. It's the same rhetoric from back when he "left" YT and became a full time streamer, on the basis that he wasn't making as much as he used to during his "white hot popular" days back in 2010, that they needed to make up the difference in his income.

This and the fact he has a WWE Champions addiction which is why he prefers to get that quick cash for some awesome pulls.

Phil laid out a timeline, saying that the vest streak was actually positive, and then the DMCA strikes started, then the same asshole started doing the chargebacks, one after another. So the other chargebacks have been completely retconned away, it's all been this one guy, and Phil is now saying that none of it was vest streak money, it was all the money after. I have no idea how this is possible, and it clearly contradicts things Phil said previously

I was talking about it earlier on my restream tonight. If I understand what Phil is telling us correctly he does the following:

1. Get tip from wheelchairs.
2. Moves instantly takes the 1% hit to move tip money from PayPal to his BoA account, asap to avoid tip money disappearing.
3. Charge backs come in PayPal was running low he "overdrafts" and goes into the red.
4. "I am in the negative *snort*". Moves money back to PayPal.
5. Moves money back to BoA, takes another 1% hit.
6. "I am losing money to the troll tipper"! Says the man with the business degree.

Once again Phil is his own worst enemy.

If this isn't what is happening then this is him creating drama and crying for attention (viral Twitter tweets again). As he needs to find some way to make even more money to flaunt a paper thin lifestyle and existence with no substance or drive.

He has no fight left.

Can’t say I’ve ever really believed this chargeback arc. One because I never believe what phil says, and two it started happening after the free ride that was the vest streak. I don’t believe in coincidences like that, especially ones centered around a known liar.

Honest question: does Dave keep food stuffed in his cheeks like some sort of greasy, human-sized squirrel? I've frequently seen him do weird things with his stretched out chipmunk cheeks during videos and sometimes they look like they are packed with gauze or walnuts or something. Then other times they look distinctly "empty"...Granted i try to limit time spent looking at that doughy face but I swear this fool stuffs candy or foods or tissues or something into those droopy stroke-jowls.

Yes, from OverpoweredBoone. There is a possibility he got them all on this last paycheck from Twitch, but I think the second 3k was too late to make the cut and so will appear on his November 15th paycheck. He also had almost 900 subs on the last one as well.

He also received several more fairly large cheers recently that will appear on the November 15th paycheck. Not nearly as large, but still substantial (a few hundred dollars, I believe). And sis subs are mildly inflated again.

I mean I know that from all the doxed paypigs we've seen that most of them are actually mentally challenged, but at some point even they have to realize that whatever flavor-of-the-quarter-year "emergency" there is either doesn't exist or it's way overblown, mostly because the Pig doesn't show any proof. The seemingly infinite money black hole that somehow just eats up whatever amount of money Phil needs at the moment used to be thekses, now it's chargebheks.
Same goes for whatever things he "has" to buy, now it's the PS5, headset and games. He says that it'll cost $1500-$2000 and I'm like what the fuck, are you importing them from PlayAsia or some shit that it's more expensive? Or hell, PlayAsia has their prices listed on the site, is he paying some sourcing and package forwarding service in fucking Slovakia to buy his PS5, headset and games in Slovakia and then send them to him? I made up this crazy scenario in my head because when it comes to a concrete list of things he "has" to buy, anyone can just look up how much those things cost and if they're too retarded to do the math in their head they just use a calculator to see roughly how much it'll cost, if the shipping is free for all of that then exactly how much it'll cost. There's no reason for a $500 range of variable cost unless he does something like my hypothetical Slovakian sourcing and package forwarding company scenario.

There's a lot of evidence showing that it's a scam. But I think one of the most obvious is how he treats the chargebacks versus how he acted when EA "illegally charged" him with that Origin subscription thing. That was what, 30 something bucks? Yet he was angrily tweeting at EA and screaming into the void about it and genuinely seemed upset. And that was over such a small amount. If he's really getting hit with chargebacks for thousands of dollars, he'd be making way more of a fuss about it, complaining to PayPal or Twitch or the credit card company, whoever he felt was responsible for taking away his money.

That isn't to say some chargebacks didn't happen. It's clear it did because he's screening/doxing his paypigs now, he doesn't have the energy/foresight to do that just to support a lie. But there's no way it happens as frequently/far back/for as much as he says.

I like to think most of them know he’s full of shit 99% of the time, and appropriately don’t give him money. I’m not gonna shit on his fans for keeping a sub to him or throwing him a few bucks here and there because they actually get some unholy form of genuine entertainment from the loser, but there’s a reason he constantly has whales paying the way, and there’s a reason when a whale isn’t immediately around he has to constantly guilt trip his audience to try and make up the difference.

I’d honestly be super curious on how much of his tips and subs are from his whales and how much comes in small genuine increments from his main audience, but either way it’s clear most of the people who watch phil are tighter with their money than he wishes.

@actually might have a good idea since he was tracking the finances. But to me it seems most of his streams he gets 2 or 3 big donations and not 50 little ones.

It's definitely not the signs of a healthy growing channel.

I really enjoy the way that Phil can be counted on to eventually hang himself with the sheer amount of rope his paypigs give him. On top of being dumber than he thinks he is, Phil has absolutely no shame, no regret, no desire to plan far ahead even for the sake of his actual job (which is grifting), no appreciation for being blessed with such easy marks, inadequate computational ability, and above all, an absurd level of contempt for an honest days work.

Anyone, whether they're running a legit business or peddling snake oil, who lacks those things is always going to lack the motivation they need to stay ahead of their own self, to be prepared for when things go south. In Phil's case, it's causing him to really fuck up his scams lately, and by the time he moves to do something about it, it will be too late.
