Uncle Tom analysis time:
Right off the bat, I hear "PUT THE KNIFE DOWN!" 3x. Suspect refuses to comply, gets closer to said officers, officers respond with justified force.
This time there are witnesses around the incident, but immediately start berating the cops for being concerned of their safety.
Upper city Philadelphia reports at least a murder or stabbing a day, yet THIS is enough for these idiots to start freaking out? (Point of reference: I watch local news, almost every day when I wake up, I see a murder, shooting or stabbing reported in Philly. I'm actually desensitized to it, that's how sad it is.)
Philadelphia isn't exactly the safest city in PA. I imagine this won't make it better. Brace for impact.

Again, I think this will create a generalization with policing to where they HAVE reason to enact in a hostile, no nonsense demeanor. Therefore, we're creating our own problem if this continues to happen over time.
You think police are bad now? Wait until they just act on impulse because of all this or even worse, they just don't bother to do their job.

I wish I could go into detail without powerleveling but yes this place is very much real and the people have been like that for a long time- at least since the early 1990s. Absolutely insufferable.

The only way it could be an actual 'crime' is with a claim of voter intimidation- like when someone comes up to you while you're on line to mark your ballot and tells you "VOTE TRUMP OR I'll BEAT YOU UP." Not at all what happened here.
But it is against policy. There's a difference in policy between supporting a movement and a political candidate. Most police departments make it a no-no to support a candidate while working.
A more clear contradiction is when departments have supervisors kneel down for BLM but then refuse to let cops support 'blue lives matter' or something similar.
That is one of the cases holding that the police cannot be held civilly liable for failing to protect someone to whom they do not owe a special duty, it doesn't mean cops can refuse lawful orders and not face job sanction.
