If Biden loses PA, the only fucking state he has been campaigning consistantly in, he's dead everywhere else in the Rust Belt he hasn't been campaigning in.
There were many multiple political and cultural tensions beginning to form around video games in the years leading up to whenever some troon slept with a gaming journalist so he would shill her really shitty artsy and unfun game called "depression quest". It's supposed to represent depression, but most people just find it whiny. It's also just a text adventure game that could be represented just as easily by having html pages link to each other.
Due to this, the meme you here about Gamergate is that "IT'S ABOUT ETHICS IN GAMING JOURNALISM", but that incident was really more like the death of Franz Ferdinand that set off half a dozen different groups of people that were mad about different things tangentially related to video games.
GG meant so many things to so many people, that differing opinions on what GG was lead to a lot of conversations where people didn't understand each other at all.
You had people mad about SJWs who can barely program calling themselves important game developers for making shit tier RPG maker games you have to like because they are woke.
People mad about the epidemic of fake nerd "gamer girl" nerds messing up their woman free sanctuary and acting obnoxious
People mad about the cooperate push for wokeness in AAA games
People mad there is unrealistic and demeaning boob armor in the game they are playing
People who have been mad about shilling on game journalism sites and blogs for a long time
People who had conspiracy theories about the secret cabal of game journalists being creepy pedos
People mad the feminists want to remove all sexy women from games out of jealousy
People who were mad they can't play multiplayer games without creepy guys hitting on them or being rude
People mad that some people say racial and homophobic slurs in video games
People sharing articles about how some games need to be banned or rewritten to be more woke to generate drama clicks
People who think video games promote "toxic masculinity" and something needs to be done about teenage boys exposure to them
People who think the feminists/SJWs are coming to steal the future of video games the same way they have nearly stolen Hollywood entirely
People who don't care about video games but got involved so that they could defend or attack feminists like Anita Sarkeesian
People who don't care about video games choosing whichever side lets them act smugly moral
People who want to be left alone and play games but people won't stop bringing it up on game forums, and they eventually get labeled pro or anti GG
People who believe the other side is Mega Hitler, so they pick the side closest to their ideology to pwn Mega Hitlers
People who just want to shit stir and poke trolls for the keks
Example gamergate conversation:
"I want to be able to do raids in my favorite MMO and talk on voice chat without someone telling me to suck their dick, I think these feminists have a point and that's why I'm against gamergate"
"Ok but what about [five paragraphs on gaming journalism inside baseball and corruption including screenshots with annotations]... and what the fuck is wrong with you for supporting that just because of a creep!?"
"What the hell are you talking about?"
"This is about ethics in gaming journalism!"
All these people took a side in the great flame war spanning every large English speaking forum and social media, and it was called Gamergate
What's really interesting about Gamergate, is that it's where a lot of the first SJW memes are from, and it's when a large amount of Redditors became obsessed with misogynistic, racist, transphobic, homophobic, xenophobic, incels hiding EVERYWHERE online, giving themselves a massive savior, oppression, and paranoia complex about right wing 4chan gamers. Even if woke people right now were not involved in GG, the culture Reddit formed around it almost certainly influenced them. It set up the popularity many ecelebs who were relevant in the 2016 election. It was when the internet became more largely aware of the existence of attention seeking troons, and began to associate trans people with them instead of the older 90s image of transexuals. It was the first time I remember reading things like the word "valid" and "validation" in the way SJWs like to use them. Gamergate also marks when 4chan's /pol/ gained popularity and became the most raid capable board, especially since /b/ had declined for several years.
It really was an explosion of things people were already mad about, and it also was the beginning of the current era of the internet.
I'm mostly putting this here because I was curious about GG memes and I dug them up anyway while writing this. Should be 2014 -2015 memes, but there's possibly a few 2016 memes in there. In mid 2016 GG tended to be merged with Trump memes.
Trump will do the same or slightly worse with blacks, the same or slightly better with Hispanics, and will win on the suburban white vote like Republicans always do. There’s no reason to believe wild fantasies about a minority swing to Trump that I can see, other than a few cherry-picked polls.
I’ve seen that take from all sorts of people lately and it reeks of cope. Conservatives don’t want to admit demographic change will doom the GOP.
We're still a week out but it's not looking good for Biden in Georgia considering the blue mail / red in-person voting dynamics. This is about 2/3 of the 2016 turnout, so we still got 1/3 the votes to go, +/- the turnout difference.

I also have to add that a lot of controversial figures who gained popularity thru Gamergate went on to become voices that championed Trump and his movement. Not surprisingly all of them have threads on Kiwifarms.
Ethan Ralph's Gamergate gossip blog RalphRetort eventually turned into the Alt-Light friendly "Killstream." Milo Yiannapolous was writing Gamergate articles that attracted 4chan, undoubtedly being the first time a lot younger adults went to the Breitbart site. And finally Mike Cernovich discovered his niche thru gamergate, before GG Mike acted as a this male success who could make you a success if you followed his lifestyle advice. GG had Mike reform himself into an Anti-SJW firebrand that was given press credentials for the White House.
Let's be clear Gamergate didn't lead to Trump, but I think it's reasonable to say the internet battlelines were drawn with Gamergate.
You would think at this point they should know riots only help Trump. And after the salty reaction to ABC’s conformation it feels like like a tied has been Turing in our favor.
At this point it's just an out of control golem. The democrats sowed and fueled the conditions for this to happen earlier this year and even if they backed off on it when they realized just how much it was going to hurt them electorally they still have to reap the whirlwind. And it doesn't get much more fitting than for it to happen in the one blue stronghold of a state they desperately need and were already in danger of losing because Biden was too far gone to effectively dissemble his energy agenda on.

And yet somehow Trump was able to win the electoral college in 2016 despite widespread voter fraud. Even though he lost the popular vote because of millions and billions of Mexicans voting illegally. I guess the Deep State forgot to put them in the right swing states that time. Come on Deep State!
Russian hacking aided by Wikileaks and Comey, plus being an unlikable candidate due to her personality and decades of Republican propaganda, plus running a bad campaign focusing on the wrong states that also caused her to lose to Obama in 2008.
The Democrats are running a national campaign. They're broadcasting #VoteBlueNoMatterWho for a year straight, they ignored states to link every single issue to Trump, and they are relying on social media and MSM to cut across media markets. Biden is doing tightly scripted "appearances" that don't actually touch the locations he "visits", their only purpose is to generate video clips and headlines that can be posted to Twitter, giving the appearance of a normal campaign.
If the Democrats were going to make a play for Georgia, it wouldn't be with public campaigning. It would be with a bunch of political operatives ready to commit voter fraud. Check their campaign finance reports, see if they surged anyone there behind the scenes.
I think it's more that GamerGate was the culture war coming to gaming, and it just happened to occur right as the new-right realized the left had no fucking idea how to actually fight a culture war, that trolling the left is hilariously fun, and that righty culture is actually superior to what the radical left is pushing. Gamers told the radical left "no, and fuck you you faggot retard nigger kike tranny" and they had no fucking idea how to respond to someone not only refusing to give surrender immediately, but actively pushing back and mocking them.
That was the huge takeaway people like Milo noticed. The left wins the culture because the right was told never to bother fighting. The left doesn't actually know how to fight a culture war, not really. They are completely reliant on the right not questioning their sociopolitical pseudo-religious beliefs (like in "privilege," "identity," or "gender") and the second that is no longer the case, they literally have no idea what to do.
But if it wasn't GamerGate, it would have been ComicsGate, or TabletopGate, or something else. At some point someone would have told the left to fuck off and the new-right's growing realization that the right doesn't have to constantly surrender cultural issues to the left would have sparked all this shit.
I’ve seen that take from all sorts of people lately and the whole idea reeks of cope. Conservatives don’t want to admit demographic change will kill the GOP and replace what is considered “American Heritage” as represented by Trump with cultural Marxism as represented by BLM or otherwise alien values.
We need to stop worshiping celebrities. For Christ's sake.
Tenacious D...I love their music. They make funny songs...but that's it. I don't need to hear their hot takes on anything that's actually important, and I especially don't take them seriously when they give it to us.

Another factor to consider was the demise of the Religious Right that roughly coincided with the Great Recession and the rise of Barack Obama. The "New Right" finally decided to fight back because the biggest cliques in the Right (Religious Right and the neocons) had finally withered away and lost any kind of actual relevance even within their own side.
The Left knew how to win a culture war, but only against the neocons/fundies/traditionalists. The Right did not "concede the culture" to the Left. They fought an earlier culture war and fucking lost hard in the 2000's once Bush was no longer around to prop them up and the neocons no longer viewed the Moral Majority as useful.
Gamergate was an unimportant autistic internet slapfight by itself but it had that "Franz Ferdinand" effect where it snowballed out of control. The Left seemed like it couldn't fight a culture war because they were fighting the last war, as it were. 4chan shitposters and guys who just wanted to play video games in peace turned out to be a trickier opponent than hillbilly preachers, church ladies, Florida Man lawyers, and the neocons who bankrolled them.
I'm not really a fan of Jack or Tenacious D but this at least sounds like an energetic and fun cover. But in what fucking parallel dimension to they think this will make me want to vote Democrat? Why did they have to inject politics into an at the very least serviceable cover? Can these Hollywood elites who are here to ENTERTAIN me stop reminding me how fucked this election year is?
I'm sick of this. At least its not the ad of all the celebrities getting naked saying we should vote for Biden/Harris, but Jack Black does get pretty close to fulfilling that.
