Badly for who? I see it as another opportunity for BLM to piss away more goodwill.

The media is looking for ANY incident that they can suddenly pretend everything is the fault of the evil capitalist nazi fascist trumpbros. If this caravan gets attacked and they run someone over, or shoot back, the media will spend the next week pretending some black angel was literally lynched by white nationalists live on TV and it's all TRUMPS fault.

Some sped could decide they're gonna go slot floppies. Or at least, a defensive shooting would be framed that way by the Lugenpresse. Then all the joggening of the last night or two can be handwaved away.

Kobach was too based for this world.

Ever since Fedsmoker died I've thought that Trump should issue letters of Marque and Reprisal to a Land Privateer to root out corruption and degeneracy. This guy looks like just the type.

No one is going to decide to go on a rampage based on a car rally. There might be violence but it won't be the right causing it.
These people have lost the plot. I think? That is the scary thing about this election. The two major factions in this country have both convinced themselves of diametrically opposed realities. Most of us here think all these lefties and politicos are insane. But what if WE are the crazy ones? I mean, it's possible. We are all anti-social autists on a shitposting board. Has our reality been skewed by that?Certainly it has, but are we the ones decoupled from objective reality for it or are people like Nate Silver?

This election is the only lodestone around which both these opposed realities orbit, and on November 3rd they are going to smack together. And only one reality will come out on top. What happens to the side whose whole world view gets shattered is where the real shit starts.
Nate Silver was talking about Mississippi going blue at one point. Even if Biden wins, some of the predictions he's been making are nonsense.

Also I can only speak for myself, but I'm pretty sure Nate Silver is more anti-social than I am.

That's not the point. The point is that the media will frame the Right as the instigators, even as they've ignored the riots. Who actually started it is irrelevant. They're driving into a trap. A bad-optics altercation gives the Dems the "muh huwite supremacist militia" narrative they need.

Joe Biden is *not* Trump and a Democrat, so he's guaranteed a good vote. Campaigning too much might yield Bob Dole tumbles, so if he's poorly, Joe Buden is smart to keep his messages to the airwaves. He would likely loose votes or give hostages to fortune with gaffes.

I'm really hoping VA flips back red one last time.

I know how immensely hard it will be with NoVa but the mass unpopularity of the governor and new legislature on the rest of the state can't be understated. It will and is driving GOP turnout. Don't be suprised if it's one of the largest red turnouts the state has ever seen.
I think it's too late: there has been too much long term colonization of the state, the political power is now completely concentrated in the DC area, and frankly too much of the GOP State infrastructure/Influential Party members needed to organize an effort to resist it are the exact sort of "social liberal, economically conservative" types who unironicly will cross parties to vote for Biden.

The best case you can hope for in my opinion is massive rural turnout that flips the down ballot in a bunch of areas, but honestly if they hold out too long NOVA will eventually disenfranchise them further.

I voted regardless, but I seriously doubt it will matter outside of maybe flipping a local position

Good to know. I've heard literally nothing this entire time and TBH have been too distracted by other life issues to check.

I guess his constant radio ads are just cope. Side note, Tuberville's sign have our flag on it and just really looks classy. Jones' just has his name big on it. Aligning yourself with the state's symbol is probably a good decision because it pulls at the pride strings.
It also helps that Tuberville is a nearly household name by virtue of being the former head coach for Auburn.

I think Virginia is safe D too. It's possible that Trump might win it, but very unlikely, and it won't be a priority for his campaign either.

Or it's something like 269-269, Biden wins the popular vote and the Republicans chose the President because they control more state delegations. Both sides claim victory and the Minecrafting begins.

Reminds of when the Proud Boys wanted to go to Portland in the heat of riots.

It's totally possible that the "tourists" will fuck with Trump supporters ala Portand (pray to God another Aaron Danielson incident doesnt occur again). But with Philly as it is now, it's the best and worst time to rally for Trump in the deep blue hellhole. Hopefully they'll be in the suburbs instead of the city. If they feel as if the risk is necessary, then it might be.

Quote or ping me if things pop off, but meh, they'll be fine.

Remember how I've been doomposting over a hypothetical Murphy's Law strike? I hope I'm wrong, but this could be it.

I'm just trying to brace myself for a worst case scenario. But then again, I guess constantly fretting over it won't do any good either.

I really hope you guys end up right and Trump wins, don't get me wrong. Biden is someone who I have very little faith in.
If it makes you feel better, my boomer parents stopped watching the news because it was so stressful. My Gen X'er boss is voting for the second time in his life for Trump on the principle of the thing. (We live in Illinois so we won't swing anything.)

It isn't much but the trends seem to be true.

Same New York state. But I know a lot of people who are voting for Trump
