Went to vote today. Line was a lot longer than I anticipated, so it took about two hours of standing to finally vote. All the while, I had the displeasure of standing in front of a group of black women that would not stop ranting about how they couldn't believe people would vote for Trump. It was rather draining, to say the least. Being a Republican in a blue county is awful.

As for Rand Paul, I have my issues with him. I understand that politicians can be a bit shady, but I remember seeing an interview with him where he was talking about how he'd get rid of unnecessary laws and the reporter asked which ones. I thought this was a very good question, but he came off as defensive and not really wanting to answer the question. He said it wasn't a fair question, "would take too long" and he reluctantly and quickly answered with Obamacare and nothing else. It seemed a little shady to me.

This usually happens multiple times every time elections roll around. The worst part about seeing this happen last night is that you'd have to admit to watching The Batchelorette. There's no coming back from that kind of humiliation.

Wait way does it have Trump up there. But for electoral votes had Biden at 101 and Trump 100. Are their more electoral votes in Michigan?

Boris at least made sure Brexit actually happened. Corbyn could easily have cancelled it, depending on what happened. In the long run that will be very significant.

A moderating factor: The North Bay Area of California is definitely blue. I went up to Santa Rosa over the weekend, and saw a building plastered with Biden signs (okay, well it was a Democratic office of some sort), but also a modest number of signs in yards through Sebastopol. No MAGA in liberal NorCal; I kept hoping to come across a red sign but instead I think I just found out where most of Twitter lives.

The north of California does have a lot of conservatives, the bay area has barely any though. You'd probably see some Trump signs north of Sonoma County.

And, yes, that is where a lot of Twitter lives.

Probably not actually, the lockdowns in NY made a lot of Jews turn on Cuomo and the Democrats. They won't forget that quickly either.
