That's the problem. A lot of these people don't know what real racism is. They just go with the latest trend or the few uncomfortable moments they experienced in their lives with white people.
Real racism is being constantly denigrated for the sins of ones ancestors, being bombarded with media how your race is evil and deserves to go extinct, and being denied opportunities in favor of BIPOCs. I long for the day where white people embrace the evil to finally defend themselves.
The Abbacio one isn't bad at all because they're well-drawn and don't look ugly af but the Bucciarati one, that's just lazy and somehow, the normal version looks worse. After closer inspection, I've overlayed the Bucciarati drawings, they're literally just copy-and-paste lines with alterations to the face, hands and shading. This is exactly what I was thinking. If someone judgmental saw a black boy and a white boy saying they'd get married, they'd focus on the fact they're gay first, and then maybe bring up the fact they're an interracial couple.
