Yeah, I'm in the same boat. I had to go research who the fuck Miles even was, and it turns out that at the time of the 2018 article, Miles was so unimportant compared to how much they tried to puff him up for the article that he didn't even appear on the roster for the Department of Homeland Security, because he was just a policy adviser. He also didn't even have a Wikipedia page until three months ago. Curiously, this
Wikipedia page is locked until November 4th, because that's subtle.
I especially like the little snippet at the very bottom that makes sure that you know he's a Republican, because absolutely nothing else has ever happened in Miles' life. He's just a Republican, that's it.
Nothing else.
I get that this is supposed to be some massive, "Oh my God,
he's the anonymous source!?" moment from the media, but after doing a decent chunk of research on the guy I still have to lean back and go, "Fucking
who?"
