Wow I never heard of this organization, I think its a great idea, really is.

This is probably an unpopular opinion Mainstream but I feel like if someone is taking welfare for their kids for a certain amount of time they should be required to get sterilized. I mean if someones taking from the public doll shouldn't the public have a say in their lifestyle? I think the same could be applied to people who take EBT, they can only buy healthy foods and have to have all their purchases tracked. I've seen to many people in the grocery store eating better than I do with their cart full of groceries and liquor and whip out that EBT card.

Nah. It's a waste of government resources to police people's choices on that level. The EBT thing also puts most of the burden on grocery stores that have to categorize products according to whether they're purchase-able on EBT.

My proposition is that welfare should be generous enough to support one adult plus four kids (showing welfare mothers the financial benefits of only having one child) while offering those women IUDs on the government's dime. If they keep popping out more children, they get zero additional benefits. Regular working people don't get a raise whenever they have a child, why should welfare recipients be any different?

I also wouldn't complain about CPS being more proactive about looking into neglect, including malnutrition.

You bring up some good points, the EBT thing was more of a tirade I had back during the Obama administration where anyone could EBT cards.
The only thing with CPS is that I think that its full of old cat ladies, blue hair lesbians, shemales and cucks. None of these people will ever have children and I dont think they should be taking peoples children. I can probably write a manifesto about CPS but I wont. Needless to say I think most kids that go into the system come out worse than when they went in.

I can't even go shopping. Everything is boarded up. It's my birthday and I can't even go anywhere. 9pm curfew. SEPTA is still running at least. Back in May they had to shut it down for a couple days.

I was awakened at the crack of dawn today by a helicopter flying low over the house. You'd think I would have gotten used to it by now.

There are a lot of reports of blown up ATMs. At least several of them were fails because the money box was intact. Do we even have to play guess the race?

The Fresh grocer has decided to pull all ATMs from their Philly stores. The one hit in West Philly was absolutely trashed back in May. If this keeps up the company could shut it down. Crime is a big reason why Philly is rife with food deserts.

Eateries that were still filling pick up orders were told to move ATMs outside due to Covid 19. It just makes it easier to blow up the ATM.

A black boutique owner had her entire shop cleaned out by looters. These people do not care that they are destroying the livelihoods of black business owners. Free stuff y'all!

A small pharmacy at Broad and Roosevelt was cleaned out. They can't even fill orders because the computers were destroyed. Now business will be lost because patients have to transfer their prescriptions to get them filled.

Fuck all these looters. I know it would cause even more trouble but damn I wish the police could shoot on site.

Try as hard as you can to get out and move to the country or at least a much smaller city. This shit isn't stopping anytime soon.

One thing, the one thing, that makes me see red is child neglect and abuse by unfit parents. Kids need three pillars of security. Structural, emotional, and financial. If parents don't provide that security to their children it is neglect. Fucking period. NYC went into the death spiral from 1975-1985ish, it nearly went bankrupt multiple times and huge swaths of the city looked bombed out. In the late 80s it started trending upwards and really took off under Giuliani. Philly had a delayed fall from grace, not that the 1970s weren't dicey, its just the worst effects of de-industrialization didn't hit until the 80s. Philly went to shit in the early 80s and finally begain a recovery around 2000. The city nearly went bankrupt near 1992 or so. Philly was extremely violent up until the financial crash and started turning around during the Mayor Nutter administration, parts of the city became gentrified and tax revenue was ticking upwards which speeds up the restoration of a city as things like parks get cleaned up, trash service becomes regular, more cops on the street. Mayor Kenney and DA Krasner have absolutely destroyed any momentum long before the COVID shit occured.

CPS is fucked over by both sides, the left with the danger hair "pushing your kids to be trans is not abuse" and with the right "how dare you tell me how to raise my child" (which runs from legitimate to non legitimate). Because of this CPS is often powerless to actually act when there is a danger but its not immediate, CPS has a high rate of burn out because of this. For example I had a friend who use to work in their state's CPS, they quit after their boss had a case where the boss knew the kids were in danger, but was powerless to get the kids removed and placed in a safe place. The parent ended up murdering the kids while the case was still active.

Personally i think they should scrap all welfare systems except disability and replace it with UBI but so minimalistic that if your living off only that you would have enough to live out of a tent eating ramen. Enough to live off of but not comfortably
