they are also a 501(c)4 that means it is a "community organization" that may engage in politics

re: the Twin Cities - keep in mind that more than a few people fucking bailed from that trashheap over the last few months.

I think that is why I am getting hit hard with Dem texts...registered Dem due to voting in local primaries and moved to a purple/leans red county. A lot of people who moved stayed within Hennepin County though If a significant amount of them vote Trump, that could make Hennepin more interesting, but it will still go Biden by double digits. If most of them vote Biden anyway, it will not make a difference other than possibly making some outer Hennepin precincts blue.

Here comes another update on California's mail ballot statistics and how many have been returned.

Almost 9 million ballots have been cast so far in this election. The share of people who return the ballots are still overwhelmingly white and in the older age brackets. 35-49 and 18-34 mail ballot return is still pretty low though even though they're both approaching the 2 million mark.

I don't know if the 2020 election here in California will have lower turnout than in 2016 with their 14,181,585 votes. Only time will tell.

Also, I've started to see a lot more houses putting up signs to support Trump in my town and saw a few cars with Trump bumper stickers. I guess some of the silent majority is finally starting to express themselves?
