It was just made today, but there's a lot of schizos on /jp/ constantly in denial or making up their own メンヘラ headcanons so I wouldn't trust if someone keeps sperging about how ABC or XYZ isn't true even if there is proof. Also it's bannable to post information of the girls identities on /jp/ because they're faggots doing it for free.

I'd say this one has more meat to it because they found stuff that Senzawa was very likely to work in (Shitty VNs) or commissions.
The only weird thing is that @senzawaa on Twitter is taken over(?) by someone else and there isn't any posts about eating sugar and a lot of posts in Arabic for whatever reason?

The evidence speaks volumes in this case and the sudden deletion of the photos after 2 years even more so. I just think it's disturbing how so many people were so quick to deny the blatant proof staring them in the face and then to lie about something that took 2 seconds to debunk. Hololive seems to attract these bizarre white-knight (or black-knight, like I've seen some of them call themselves) types like flies to honey.

For me, it depends on the person. For all the JP girls, it's because I like them and want to support their other channels/endeavors (if applicable). For the EN girls, it's just for curiosity's sake, and to keep up with drama when other people go digging, since it's kinda fun. I never have any malicious intent with their "doxxed" info, myself. Just kinda along for the ride in the EN cast's case.

For me, I mainly come across their identities, I only know who the EN girls and Coco are because I just happened to find out in reading about other things, I entered the rabbit hole when Coco and Haachama were suspended because it pissed me off and I wanted to know why.

Everyone knew who Coco was due to some slip up but I ended up seeing who the EN girls are one by one and, honestly, kinda wanted to compare. I only knew Senzawa before EN started.

I'm content with people like Korone and Fubuki simply being Korone and Fubuki.

If anything, I think the opposite is true. Most of the Holos have been doxed to varying degrees by JP fans, and the majority of them are fine. There's a site dedicated to unearthing previous VTuber identities - in case you want to learn where you can listen to Shirogane Noel's big tiddy motherly ear cleaning ASMR or something like that: https://vtamainfo.com/soul/
(to be fair, it usually doesn't reveal their face unless it's easy to find with basic information, such as Calliope)

I think it's just egregious cases of someone revealing themselves, rather than old fans digging up info. The auditions specifically ask for people with a track record of producing content, so the vast majority of talents are going to be people who already have their own fan base. The company has to know that when you recruit established talents by the dozen, some of their fans are going to connect the dots.

It's also a lot easier to let a talent go when they're new and haven't established their base yet. Hitomi Chris never debuted. Aloe barely lasted for two weeks. Gura specifically seems unlikely to be fired over doxxing, based on her popularity alone. Even if the day comes that Reddit normies know her IRL face, her long-term career viability is probably safe unless she personally drops a Taiwan-class fuckup on the company.

It also just scratches an itch in a way that I can't explain.

It sounds weird to post this on kiwifarms, but I would prefer not to know what performers faces look like at all if possible. Some things are just are better left to imagination. The performers are entertaining because they aren't self conscious about being judged by their looks and because they can say things that facecam thots can't without any shame. It's like a masked wrestler kind of situation. The mask IS the face.

That said, I laughed when I found out coco is basically Bayonetta. There's no way to hide that height in 3D. She must stick out like a sore thumb in Japan.
