I was using my phone to look up spooky Halloween soundtracks and was amazed at how many "VOTE GODDAMN-IT" ads are slapped everywhere. It's especially annoying when you go in to skip the ad and accidentally fat-finger something and now has a long ass Biden ad playing. I also swear I seen a small "LEARN ABOUT VOTING" banner when I was shopping around on a manufacturer store site the other day. This shit is absolutely ridiculous.

I saw those protests, they weren't that big, maybe 30,000 people. The social distancing in these crowds makes them seems larger than they are.

In Poland the left wing is a tiny rump of the parliament, maybe 40 seats out of 460. Maybe they can make a push for increased popularity if the abortion measure is unpopular enough but pretending that the majority of Poles are up in arms about the new law is laughable.

It would be a different story in the US.

Overturning Roe v Wade would just let states ban abortion locally; the ruling states that states are not allowed to pass such laws. It wouldn't cause a federal ban like Poland has, and blue states wouldn't ban it so it would still be available.

There's no way a federal abortion ban would get through Congress, they can barely pass anything.
