Social Justice Warriors - Now With Less Feminism Sperging

It's never enough.

There's no way a federal abortion ban would get through Congress, they can barely pass anything.
It would also be electoral suicide for all but the safest of seats. This is so obvious it's unlikely such a measure would even be allowed out of committee, because voting either way on it would be suicidal for many Republicans. And obviously a majority Democratic House is never going to table such a measure.

Abortion has been effectively banned in Poland and people are protesting, larger than anything ever seen here. Women are going on a general strike. (And amazingly it isn't getting any coverage here - it's like Solidarity all over again.)

If the Republicans get their fondest wish, expect the same here, but much, much larger.
Can we just be real how silly Chuck Schumer sounds screaming that “Americans are going to lose rights”?

This is the same guy who spent the 90s trying to ban handguns and the last 2 decades trying to ban everything else.

Democrats want to relitigate District of Columbia v. Heller because unlike Roe V. Wade apparently it's not 'settled law'.

The Sandy Hook LOLsuit that’s ultimately going to fail in front of this Supreme Court is an attempt to get the Lawful Commerce Protection Act overturned.

Democrats view the Supreme Court as some kind of super legislator for their agenda that they can't actually get passed through the legislative process.

What was McCarthyism if not cancel culture? Which party did old Tailgunner Joe belong to, after all?

The impetus to "cancel" people isn't exclusively left-wing, despite what the right would have you believe. (Especially since they would be doing it too if they could - and they have.)
McCarthy was tasked with exposing Soviet agents within US government. Soviet communism being a totalitarian ideology that was very fond of liquidating anyone that got in it's way or spoke out of turn, and was hell bent on expanding its sphere of influence. McCarthy may have gone too far at times but I've never seen any proof that he targeted someone that did not have ties to communism and often directly with the Communist Party and therefore Stalin himself.

To put that down as "cancel culture" is kind of a joke.

Overturning Roe v Wade would just let states ban abortion locally; the ruling states that states are not allowed to pass such laws. It wouldn't cause a federal ban like Poland has, and blue states wouldn't ban it so it would still be available.

I don’t even get why Republicans are so obsessed with banning abortions.

No joke, every TV channel has been drilling “go vote” non stop. Instead of focusing on Halloween stuff, they’ve been putting out cringy ads with Samantha Bee, guilt trips with Breonna Taylor, Biden ads, etc. CN is even making an Election Day themed marathon for Gumball to air just before next Tuesday.
And if you think you’re safe by streaming, services like Netflix have election documentaries prepped and ready to watch.
This just made me realize that throughout all of October I barley saw anything haloween related, either when I was outside or when I passed by the tv's at the breakrooms at work.
Maybe I'm not just a kid anymore, but i honestly don't notice anything spooky that went on this spooky month and I'm sure that things are so depressing and cynical I won't notice anything christmasy by december.

I think it's more Corona's fault that few people didn't decorate much.

Around me its quite the opposite. People were going so stir crazy that a LOT of people did bug ass yard displays and the like this year. There are always a few who go big, but this year like half my neighborhood went all out. My neighbor is on the village board, and she did a big display with her grandkids, just to give them a project. Since all the schools around me are still "distance learning" and kids have been going nuts and doing stupid shit everywhere, that was probably smart.

He had nothing to do with finding the actual Soviet spies, like Alger Hiss or the Rosenbergs, who were in the government. Out of the varying numbers of people he named as being Soviet spies only seven or so actually were, and they were already well known as being Soviet spies.

What do you think accusing someone of being a spy with little or no actual proof is?

Hence why the right are a bunch of retards. I would honestly prefer the left going after people than dealing with the right.

One is still preferably to the other.
I didn't like it when the right had their hands in affairs like entertainment or cultural influence.

I damn sure don't like it when it switches hand.

I love when SJWs say shit like "privileged people don't GET to say this!" Because damn, bitch watch me :story: you're literally inviting anyone and everyone to come piss you off. It's always great to see someone make a grand declaration like that and then later on a follow up post about how now they have to mute the thread because they're being "harassed." Say what you want about the clown world we live in, at least the freak show's good and free

Mind you, McCarthy wasn't calling for these people to be arrested (except in the case of Hiss and the Rosenbergs, obviously). But he saw them as security risks, no different than someone who has a drinking problem. They could go into the private sector, they could work in another public office that DIDN'T have sensitive material.

When people talk about the Army-McCarthy hearings, several things get brushed over. For starters, the hearing was to see if McCarthy should be censured, as he'd been raising a ruckus about the Army's operational security. Two, everyone remembers Joseph 'I have a small penis' Welch crying about 'have you no decency, sir' to McCarthy -- but they never remember what McCarthy had said!

Welch had just spent a couple hours hammering on Roy Cohn on the stand. Now, Cohn was practically a lolcow in his own right. Barely-closeted faggot with a massive crush on another one of McCarthy's staffers, David Schine. During the political brawling, someone noticed Schine's waiver on the draft should've expired, and immediately arranged to get him sent off to Korea. McCarthy didn't fight this (heck, even Schine didn't), but Cohn... well, he got weird. He started trying to spend political favor to keep Schine safe and comfortable. It was, to be honest, corruption in the academic sense, but it had to be one of the silliest and most pathetic examples of corruption ever seen in government.

In any case, Welch was verbally harassing and gay-baiting Cohn, insisting that Cohn 'make sure he name all those Communists'. Fed up with this treatment -- whatever McCarthy's faults, he was insanely loyal to his subordinates -- McCarthy stepped in and pointed out that one of Welch's own staffers was a member of the National Lawyer's Guild, an organization flagged by the FBI as Communist-influenced.

(Yes, that's the same fucking National Lawyer's Guild that was fucking bailing out radical leftist terrorists later on.)

A side note here: when people talk about McCarthy and his 'list of names', they also conveniently forget McCarthy did not want to publicize these names. McCarthy himself stated that he could be wrong about some of them and did not want to discuss the names 'on the record'. It was (surprise) the Democrats who demanded he 'name names'.

So yeah. McCarthy had his flaws, but the Democrats were in bed with communists and no amount of whitewashing will EVER change their faggotry.

If he didn't want to publicize his names, then why not? If they were trying to infiltrate and destroy the federal government, which everyone knew the Communists were trying to do, why not name the names and out the fucking Communists who were trying to destroy our country? It seems suspicious, especially when so many other people and organizations during this time had no qualms with naming suspected Communists.

Welch had confirmed Fred Fisher's membership in the organization - publicly, months before the hearings, mind you - and sent him back and had him replaced. What McCarthy did was the sort of base red-baiting he was good at - trying to insinuate that Welch was in bed with the Commies. Cohn himself thought McCarthy had gone too far.

(A bit odd that you cry about Welch "gay-baiting" Cohn when McCarthy said that gay people were particularly vulnerable to being Communist double agents - "If you want to be against McCarthy, you've got to be a Communist or a cocksucker"; "Every active Communist is twisted mentally or physically.")

Trying to defend McCarthy is ahistorical bullshit.

Because, shockingly, even McCarthy admitted he might be in error about these people being security risks. Unlike modern day faggotry where you sling accusations first and forget to apologize later when your sorry ass gets blown out.

You know, believe what you want about McCarthy, but the question still fucking stands: were there Communists in the State Department?

And the answer is YES, which means the decades long push to bury McCarthy has been SOLELY in the defense of communist traitors.
