Have you told people IRL about Chris?

Can't remember if I first learned about cwc through SA or 4chan in 2008 but I kept my fandom quiet for over a decade until I realized
1) my sister interacts with autistic people as part of her job
2) she would be deeply disturbed by Chris

I text her a few pics and videos about once a week now.

I posted a banme on SA in 2009 after I got probation for making fun of troons in BYOB.

As previously mentioned chris chan is well known to mrs julian in regards to others

Best Friend A-:looks sad: "I'm going to bed.
Friend B-"you probably shouldnt mess with this guy, not just for his sake but for yours."
Friend C-"I don't care Julian."
Friend D-"You should give him patreon money."
Friend E-" Tell me more...."

I’ve told some people I know that follows DSP and LTG stuff about Chris happenings and some of the other megacows like Ethan Ralph. Doesn’t seem to catch their attention as well despite a lot of them being far more entertaining imo. It’s probably the visible insanity and body horror; though Terry Davis had every one of them laughing.

I did say ‘go out and zap to the extreme’ off the cuff once to gauge whether anyone would get the reference but instead the people I was with looked at me as if I were a fat, 39 year old non-functioning austic transsexual from Virginia.

I tell some people sometimes. Only ones I'm pretty sure wouldn't think I'm some major asshole for thinking it's funny. I'll show them a couple episodes of the comprehensive history if they seem interested in knowing more. My biggest hang-up is that they'll think something like "He's making fun of an autistic man-child" so I usually try to get in a quick "You feel bad sometimes, but he's a real piece of shit" and that usually does the job.

Funny story about that: usually when I bring it up I say something along the lines of "I was reading this article online about this guy who..." (as anyone who knows me, "I read this article online..." would be my catchphrase in a sitcom) and talk about it. Without fail, every time I tried this, the reaction was basically "Oh, you know about Chris Chan too, huh?" Keep in mind, I normally do this at work when making conversation.

About a week or so ago, I told a co-worker about him and his magnum opus, Sonichu. Basically, his general reaction was a repulsed "Aw HELL no!" He doesn't want to look more into it, which is both sad and a good decision. Sad because he won't know the past hijinx but at the same time, it'll save the initial headaches trying to comprehend his decisions.
