The days when Richard could pull in higher quality trim like Ashli or even middlingly attractive women like Logan are over, and they're not coming back. His looks are gone, he's completely incapable of sobriety, and his money has just about run out. He can't even pull in easily-impressed goonettes like Logan and an unknown number of others, because he's got no website anymore to impress them with or to troll for them on in the first place.

From now on if Richard wants his dick wet, he's got no choice but uggos. And Richard's enormous ego likely will prevent him from trying with the low-quality (in looks, personality, or mental health) women he could actually succeed with. We'll see what happens when he gets desperate. I guess it depends on just how much of a functional sex drive Richard is still able to muster now that the drugs, alcohol, and physical problems have reached this level.

Poor Richard targets girls half his age who have daddy issues but now that he’s a broke ass nigga, the pool is a lot smaller. Back when he had multiple income streams, there’d be a lot more women who would tolerate his abusive behavior, heavy addiction to opiates, and his foot fetish but not anymore. If you are not looking to settle in a single area, and you aren't just grabbing your ankles for the first place in the hot new hipster paradise you find, renting lets you trade flexibility for not having a crippling monthly millstone on your neck that also ties up a lot of your liquid assets if you expect to change cities/states.
I know a lot of people who lost tens of thousands in the 2008 collapse, plus what ever they were spending to build equity in the years before, because when the market corrected it took their jobs with with it.

However, exactly zero of that applies to Lowtax, as addressed in this previous post:

On the rent buy debate. Our system in the US does alot to encourage buying. during the bubble back in 08 I followed a website called the housingbubbleblog. reading it was an interesting education especially the comments of people going back and forth.

Lets be clear one of the smartest things rich did was leave the west coast and go back to his home town where is mummy is/was.

With the money coming off the forums he got a nice house and coulda had it paid for. When he got sick of internet irony he coulda found a nice part time gig etc.

Instead he got a huuge house fucked off blah blah blah divorce/drugs.

Lets be honest if had a mortgage he woulda sold the house. the best hope for him is to get in a moped accident and get on SSD.

Rent is typically less than PITI+maintenance+repairs for the same utility so the difference can be invested in liquid assets that actually give you a real ROI, unless you really have to live in a certain place and there's nothing worthwhile to rent or you're really into modifying property. And unless you stay in an owned property long enough, any equity you think you have can be wiped out by fees when you try to sell it. If it isn't already wiped out by the various market factors that can reduce the value of real estate.
