That's odd. It looks like he added some sort of paint splotch filter onto it. It's almost as weird as how he manages to look a unique horrible way in every selfie he takes.

Re: this image, why is it so low quality? Clearly this is not from his iPhone. What is the reflection in his glasses? How does his head look even more pear shaped than last time?
I have a hunch this was taken with the front camera of one of his devices, based on the resolution and shitty quality. Some of them are capable of taking decent pictures, but the smearing around the edges suggests he took this in a dark room.

Just a guess, but he probably took this using the webcam built into his all in one pc and the room was pitch black (save for his computer screen).

If he were were to really turn trans, which of course he never will because he only larps as female online, he'd have a couple of big things going for him:
  • He's fat, which tends to smooth over such things as Chad chins and cheekbones, cf. NikkieTutorials.
  • He really does have a glorious head of hair, which he could do just about anything with as long as he's willing to wash and style it on a regular basis. Seriously, not to PL or anything, but back in my single days your boy Norman lured more than a few ladies into my bed on the basis of my hair alone, and Lou has better hair than even I do. (Please don't tell anyone I said that, or I'll probably kill myself.)
So if he were to actually commit to the bit and acquire a personality that wouldn't make people run away screaming, it's not inconceivable that he'd find an incel or two that would be willing to suck his dick in exchange for reciprocation.

Yeah, I agree, and I have Archer-quality "I can barely get a comb through this thing; I love my hair" fur up top, although in a dirty blonde colour. It seems to have grown subtly darker as I've gotten older. I guess that's normal, but eh.

Bit of a photographer in denial here. That looks way too shitty to be taken even with an old iPhone, and there's no chance it was taken with their shiny new iPad etc. It's gotta be a laptop webcam pic, it's just too poor of a quality. Either that, or it's been edited in some way, for god-knows-what reason. Even if it was uploaded to another service, downloaded again and uploaded elsewhere (i.e. to show someone on Telegram, they (being Ace) saved that back (I often do this as a quick and nasty way of getting pics onto other devices), uploaded to Twitter, where someone saved that and uploaded it here), it still doesn't explain how pasty the photo looks. I'm pretty sure compression artifacts don't look like that, but I could be wrong. Also, my eyes are tired right now, so they're probably not the most trustworthy things to really be visually picking a photo apart right now. I may have another look once I've slept, if anyone cares that much.

Short story long, you can usually tell when something is compression artifacts, and when it's the hardware itself, or maybe software that processed it. I remember Leonard Shaner would famously steal photos, then fuck with the saturation, which invariably fucked the photo and made it look terrible, but he did it to try and thwart RIS and other forms of matching. Really the scummiest thing any "photographer" can do. Ditto cropping out watermarks, which is all that, only 10x worse. You just don't do it. It's exactly the same as tracing someone else's artwork, and/or cropping out their signature, and calling it yours, but you "subtly" change it to both completely destroy it, and try to prevent identification. Or even just cropping and uploading. It's a fucking disgusting thing to do, in any case. Photographers gotta eat, too, and the amount of gear I have in a bag that I carry on my back, probably costs more than your car. It ain't cheap.

As for compression, usually the first place compression starts is in blacks, say, the hair in that one. If you have a look at a dark YouTube video or something with lower streaming quality, take note of how the blacks and darker colours look. It may look a bit like banding, because I believe one of the things compression does is pull intermediate colours out of the palette, thus you get banding-type effects because you don't have those transition colours there anymore, however I could be wrong here. I'm not all that familiar with the real nuts and bolts of it. Either way, blacks and whatnot are super easy to compress and decompress, and with video, almost all of that stuff is done on the fly.

I'm actually really looking forward to the new iPhone myself for this reason. Having better codecs and 10-bit HDR 4k60 HDR in a bloody phone of all things pricked my ears up pretty keenly. Now watch Ace run off and buy a new iPhone now that we're talking about it.

Edit: Added more info, added less typos.

Pardon the double post here, but what the hell are all their recent rants about? Meowing back and forth to some guy named Wes, and god, you can just see the shit attitude dripping off just about everything they tweet. Combined with a healthy dollop of the Dunning-Kruger effect, and a side order of having no clue of how the world works.

I kinda told myself I'd try my best to be nice, but that is so hard when you're even only occasionally reading the posts of someone like this. I think even Mr. Rogers would have trouble keeping the urge to give this thing a piece of his mind about how they behave to himself. Just absolutely incredible. I'm quite comfortable and secure in the fact that I'll (hopefully!) never be anything even remotely like this. I don't know how Ace can sleep at night, seriously.

But lol something something no idea about anything hoo-ha.

P.S. It would *almost* be just slightly, a tiny little bit cute, or at least quaint, seeing them have political discussions but having so little idea of how the world works, ditto having so little self-perception (for want of better terminology), for example tweeting about others being privileged when they are swimming in food and not just electronics, but electronics that make their other electronics redundant, which in turn replaced yet more electronics, that they spent a penny of their own money on, if they didn't have such a fucking garbage attitude and temper. I have a wildly short fuse, and I couldn't have nightmares about doing half the shit Ace does *regularly* - I don't think half of you people could. As much as I want to look away, I just can't. This one is too fascinating.

I think a lot of us feel that way, because many of us have genuinely worked hard for the things we have. I know there are people in this thread who have struggled financially, with housing, etc. There are people who have worked multiple jobs at the same time just to put a roof over their own head & food on the table, as well as people who have families. We all come from a variety of backgrounds, some of us have been fortunate, some of us have not. But we have worked for what we have.

Lou has never had to work for anything in his life (unless you want to count tweeting for money). He's never put in an honest day's work in a job site, aside from bell ringing for the Salvation Army. When you work for things, you appreciate what you get as a result of them more. You take care of them. You don't cast them aside easily.

For all his boo-hooing about being poor & impoverished, Lou is actually extremely privileged....just not how he wants to be.

This is why Lougie never feels content with anything he has; there's no sense of pride or accomplishment in his life; nothing he owns has a personal attachment or meaning, it's all just frivolous spending to fill in the void he feels deep down.

A void that can be filled with self-worth and improvement, like working instead of begging, spending time out in the world instead of in his room, getting some level of perspective in life and expanding his horizons. But that also involves effort and Lougie can't even spend the time to take care of himself, nevermind trying to improve his living situation. It's a lot easier to sit on your ass all day, but it makes you a lot more miserable, a huge reason why he's so depressed.

(Please pardon me for deleting my post. I wasn't happy with it, so I want to try it again.)

In a nutshell, I don't think it really matters where the money comes from to buy x thing. It definitely plays a part, but I think most of us are capable of seeing something that's given to us as a kind gesture by someone who wanted to make us happy, and that you want to try to take care of that thing to show your appreciation, because that's what any good, moral person does. But I suppose everyone comes to a point where expensive shinies keep magically appearing on their doorstep, that they will eventually stop seeing the value of "their" money.

It seems to me that Ace really does think that money is infinite, because to them, it is. It's not so much because they've never had to work for it, but more because it keeps coming from gullible people, or people as deluded as they are with more money than sense. I'm sure someone who's never worked for their money would still learn the value of a dollar real bloody fast once those dollars stop coming in. Once the tugboat stops coming in to port, you're kinda shit out of luck, aren't you?

Well yeah, if you’re only offering to pay an artist for an hour’s work max, don’t be surprised when you keep getting hastily scribbled weasel otters. An insultingly low price even for an amateur, plus the chance to have Lou shit it up with his coloring and have your name associated with this chubby train wreck is not exactly a motivator.
Just more A+ thunking from the brain that thought “My huge bags of groceries are too heavy for my massively obese body to carry, send money before I starve, also FUCK YOU” was an excellent begging tactic.

Far too many artists sell themselves short, because every furry has a secret character that is Scrooge McDuck and they would never get a commission at a fair price. Apparently the same thing goes on with animators, particularly for stuff on YouTube and whatnot.

Artists as a whole deserve more than what they get. Even if they're charging below a fair price, the fair thing to do is to being your tip up to what would be a fair price.

There's way too many furry scrooges out there, but this one seems to be both a Scrooge *and* a money burner who burns their money with gay abandon, at the same time, every day. That's what I find amazing about all of this—how is it even possible to do both at the same time? If that could be a job, none of us would be here today lol.

Two quick questions:
1. How was this stranger you're beefing with supposed to know you had "knives thrown at (you) as a child"?

2. What do you mean by 'the entire black community is killed every day'? I get that you're trying to build up good will among the woke folk for your next donation post but could you try to make sense in the mean time?

I was about to say lol pathetic he's getting the Gundam Robot Damashii and not a model kit because he wants to put in No Effort in getting a toy. But if he's getting into Gundam its an expensive hobby, figures or model kits frequently getting them can cost a pretty penny. Is he gonna start grifting for $25 dollars specifically for Gundams?
