Just die before tomorrow's election and they won't have to pay you to vote. The Necro-American demographic is going to be notoriously strong this year, I'm afraid.

And even worse, the Dem establishment has practically forgiven the crimes of George W. Bush with a God damn standing ovation! "Oh yeah, he violated the rights of a number of American citizens in the name of 'fighting terrorism' and like, totally made a Mess O' Potamia for the next decade or two. But he said mean things about Donald Trump so we totally forgive him!"

As a side note, I voted for Obama back in 2008 because he ran on a platform of reversing all the Patriot Act bullshit, but no he didn't do anything but murder brown children with remote control model airplanes for eight years. And that whole extrajudicial killing thing in Yemen, boy that's a whole new can of worms that won't have repercussions down the road.

Bush is Hitler! Obama is Hitler! Trump is Hitler!
I honestly didn't even care about the 2008 elections because I thought both candidates were shit, but I supported Obama because I thought that he just might undo the Patriot Act. But nope. Jackass was a two-faced heel who was essentially black Bush but worse and with the illusion of being more woke, but no one could call him out on it without being called a racist bigot.

Fear of being obsolete. The baby boomers sacrificed the future of every single one of us to create their temporary utopia. They've enjoyed their time on this earth at everyone else's expense, and now that they're at the end of their journey they feel hollow. Deep down inside they know their legacy is nothing. It's rust and empty cities. That scares them, the idea that the consequences of their actions are going to catch up to them, and many of them might be around to see it.
I find this very true. My grandparents on both sides lived very well, monetarily. My father's side has already passed, and my mother's side is still going strong. All of them have lived very hollow, shallow lives since as far back I could remember, filled with watching TV and mowing the lawn while owning vacation homes and campers and boats and admonishing all of the grandkids for not owning or achieving as much as they did. Their lives are filled with physical objects that they've long grown tired of. I have to thank them in a way, as it paved the way for how my life is now, living simply and far more happily than they seemed to have. They're filled with opinions and what they think of as wisdom, but are extremely unhappy with what their lives became, even having achieved what everyone thought they were meant to seek out.

@Suburban Bastard Now honey don't be like that! I still love ya!

Now how about some sugar...

I've even actually said that Barack Obama was basically Bush 2.0 in a number of ways, much to the chagrin of friends and family members. Seriously, could you PLEASE explain how criticizing a man for slaughtering brown children half a world away with remote control model airplanes and expanding the surveillance state that, as far as I know, has done little to actually stop real terrorism, is fucking RACIST.

These people would defend Barry O if he unleashed the entire nuclear arsenal of the USA on Russia and China for no reason other than shits and giggles.

And they call Trump fans cultists.

Frankly, it's a decision between a turd sandwich and a douchebag. Like last time.
Both candidates are horrid and I expect neither to make halfway competent politics independent of corporate interest that will serve the people.

Trump at least makes a fuckton of toxic assholes go haywire and from time to time, he knocks out a Tweet that pisses all over some shithole nation. Literally the only thing that I would consider halfway decent about Trump's policies are that he stands up to China, though he also bitches at his strategic partners for idiotic reasons.
Joe is just a sleeping pill given human form, who will be boring as fuck.

Who is this chick? I am skeptical as to the validity of this.

But if this is Antifa suiting up to do shit if Trump wins, holy shit, all the more reason for him to win. I said it before: I have given up on politics, all I want is entertainment at this point.
And "Antifa getting blasted out of goverment buildings by SWAT units" is a fucking riot. Pun intended.

So the United States doesn't have a Constitution or a federal government? So sorry I missed out your precious "independent" state governments who are literally unable to violate the constitution or go against federal law.

Go on then, tell me the political structure of Europe. I'm really interested to hear the shared political structure of, say, Norway and Serbia.

The Constitution and federal law cover a limited range of political and legal structures, with the vast majority of such structures being left to the state and local governments. Which is why California and, say, Kansas, can have wildly different laws about guns and many other things, and why municipalities in the same state can also have wildly different laws regarding many things. Yet they are part of the same civic and cultural group, American.

Norway and Serbia are both parliamentary democracies with welfare states that are broadly well educated by global standards. Neither are members of the EU, but are firmly within the general European political structure where the lines between national governments are broadly blurred in many areas. Serbia has applied for EU membership and will likely be a member in the next 5 years. As a member of the EEA, Norway enjoys many of the economic benefits of EU membership and is subject to many EU rules. Both feel themselves to be European, in more than a geographic sense. Despite that broad similarity, like the broad similarity in America, there are also differences of law and politics... like in America. Neither one cancels out the other. I doubt you would find many people in either country who would say they are truly separated from Europe by some yawning impasse legally, economically, culturally, or diplomatically.

Even the policy differences that do exist in Europe in many areas are broadly similar to the differences you find between different states in America.

This has been my civics class for ignorant sluts from Nepal or wherever the fuck.

Personally I'm hoping for a Biden win because Trumps (and his supporters) tantrum will be just amazing to watch. If Trump wins, well it's a few weeks of screaming snowflakes online and "Not muh president" bullshit followed by four years of watching the US descend even further into a bi-partisan shit show. The interesting result of a Trump victory is whether he'll spend the next 4 years looking for a way that he can keep himself in power for longer. Trump is building around himself a cult of personality on par with Putin and King Jong Un, two people he greatly admires. He's installed loyal cronies in every high office he can so it's not beyond the realms of imagination to see his second term come with an amendment on term limits. Once he's gotten rid of that, all he has to do is rig the election every time and he get's to be just like daddy Vladimir.

I don’t think they have the ability to think of anyone other than themselves. Covid is the boomer remover and if there was a 1 percent death rate for say children, boomers would call us all week for staying home. We should be out there wage slaving to keep social security afloat a little longer because boomers couldn’t make any hard choices.

Soooo... this is legit?
Fuck, if Trump wins and these guys sperg out, we get 2 christmas seasons this year.

Just imagine, the culmination to all these Antifa and libtard forum posts of "Should we exercise to be ready to fight? -Nah, exercising is fascist, also health at any size!" coming to fruition now!

Two questions:
  1. Why would people elect a president that actually threatened to end oil trade on a live report? Do people not know how much of the sheer damage it would cause
It comes from a desire to move towards renewable resources. A noble idea, but you can't just uproot America from the oil industry, still arguable the most important industry in the world. Just like everything the left want, there's no thought put into it.

Biden’s already won, we’re in the denial phase right now.

I have to hand it to you, you tried your best to hide your ignorance of the difference between "Europe" and the "European Union". I guess me saying Norway and Serbia was a little on the nose. I see you furiously consulted Wikipedia and discovered your error, so wrote that load of bollocks to try and save face. I mean honestly, Norway and Serbia? Really? You tried to make that work?
