Yeah, the movies are cringey garbage, don't get me wrong ... However, I find it absolutely hilarious how the Channel Awesome content creators are so bitter and assmad about how Doug and Rob wrote them as characters.

In my opinion, Doug added some personality to most of these really bland people/internet personalities. And Lindsay is a huge hypocrite herself, as she wrote "characters" for her colleagues as well ... The whole "love triangle" with her, Lupa, and Todd definitely comes to mind, and yet she complains about how Doug turned everyone into "cartoon characters" in those movies. Yeah, okay! Haha. Let's fault Doug for trying to make these bland people a little more fun to watch.

Everyone who was ever associated with Channel Awesome is nothing more than an adult baby, and that definitely includes the Walkers. It's amusing to say the least.

The thing about the criticism is it’s a mix of the characters thing (which people said Linkara did better in his audio drama) and also completely making really stupid decisions in the film production process and ignoring the advice of all the people that went to film school and according to them, could make the film look like something that isn’t amateur hour.

Lindsay has been able to cultivate a loyal following of cat ladies and soy simps who follow her around like a lost puppy. They seemingly pop up whenever she is discussed and cape for her. Even her shitty book which few of them actually liked but will still defend based on what I’ve seen elsewhere. I think it’s because she’s one of the few personalities who doesn’t actively shit on her fans.

The funny thing is the Channel Autism movies are watchable in a cringe kind of way. They're ridiculous and over the top but at no point are they taking any of what's going on seriously.

Linkara's movie? It can't even be enjoyed ironically because of the forced pathos and gravitas he places on himself. That and Armzgurl is a terrible actress that can't deliver a line to save her life.
