It would be nice if just once the MSM would accept responsibility for what they have done to this country. Trump's election did not do shit. The media hysteria over Trump's election did.

If you're cutting ties with family over some inane political bullshit, you probably didn't have great family ties altogether.

Go outside

I got a mixture of dread and excitement about all this, 2021 is going to be a year of change, the 2010s will be ending in earnest, you see there was never a year zero so a decade doesn't actually start with the zero year, it starts with the number 1 year, so 2020 has actually been the grand finale to the shitshow that was the 2010s, maybe now that it's over things can finally get better.

I entered 2020 all optimistic wanting to believe the 2010s were over but I knew about the year zero thing and like Michael Myers getting back up, the 2010s had one last attack for us before going down for good, but 2020 is already almost over and with 2021 comes real hope that things will actually get better.

The one constant decade to decade is change, things are going to change no matter what and at the very least things being different will be interesting, I'm sick and fucking tired of the way things have been for the last several years, I'm ready for something new.

A new day is dawning, are you ready for it?

Rated optimistic but not because I think you're wrong but because I hope beyond hope you're right. Godspeed.

If the suburbs are anything like the suburbs of a major metro that I live in then the middle-class who live there don't have the sense to understand what they're doing and will still vote blue. They live in such a bubble that what happens 3 blocks away in the ghetto or even next door to their gated community might as well be on a different planet. They drive cars that are much too big, live in houses that are much too expensive and drive up property prices while simultaneously virtue signalling on LinkedIn about putting more disadvantaged women in leadership positions or whatever bogus shit people seem to put there now.

They don't have the self-awareness to get it. Their lives are so meaningless and devoid of a struggle or opportunities for self-reflection that anything that challenges their worldview is immediately foisted onto someone other than themselves or can be ignored for money. The suburbs are locking down and haven't even felt any difficulty from it because they can just use their disposable income to pay for someone else to deliver their groceries to them. Then they'll post about orange man bad when their behavior is way more privileged than anything they dream up about the imaginary rural boogeyman that haunts their dreams and keeps them from being promoted to Assistant Director of Quality Assurance for the Northwest Quadrant. They like being told what to do because they don't have to think or struggle or figure shit out on their own like the working class does.

I'm cautiously optimistic for Trump, but I've also never seen such a sustained and coordinated attempt from nearly every pillar of power in our society to personally and professionally destroy someone with opinion presented as fact for 4 solid years. I didn't see it during Bush to near the level I've seen of late, and I definitely didn't see it under Obama.

I just don't know how gauge how effective the demoralization machine has been, especially with regards to the political football known as covid.

It was the only possible joker the Dems could play to get a real chance of beating Trump, and when it fell in their laps boy did they ever run with it.
I take solace in everything I see. I don't think anyone's demoralized. I honestly tend to believe the doomposters that go above "I'm a bit worried" are just people purposefully spreading black pills. You have o seek out pro-Biden stuff online. You have to go to the obvious leftist dens like Twitter to find it. Any other site, YouTube, Facebook, any random chan that isn't explicitly designed for leftists, are ALL filled with people that are sick to death of this shit. I can't see it going any other way, frankly.

So, here's some warm fuzzies amid the bleakness.

The business a few doors down from ours is an omelet house, owned by an Asian guy, but staffed and managed by Mexicans. That last part is important.

I was talking with the manager about how fucked Tuesday was going to be. Suddenly, a minivan pulls up and out comes like 8 Mexicans like a fucking clown car. They had about 20 feet of storefront glass windows boarded up in about half an hour.

They then sold us the the leftover plywood dirt cheap, saving us a trip to Lowes.

If Trumps growing support among Hispanics or even Blacks is not a meme I expect pollsters to again be systematically off by a few percent leading to a few surprises, the game is on if he gets MN or MI which is still on the table I think. I predict Trump crowning himself winner on election night with an apparant narrow lead followed by days of Dems trying to turn around the results with sketchy shit that makes Bush v. Gore seem like childs play.

Tucker makes a great case for the all the Blows that Micheal Moore spoke of 4 years ago. Tucker's viewership skyrocketed after going full 1488 on BLM. And his numbers have now made him the highest rated pundit on cable television just in time as Trump nuked Biden in that 2nd debate.

Well this is the song for me to play if Trump wins tomorrow night.

Looks like progressive extremists may be planning something.

So I took a look for any chatter from the left and I came up with some interesting stuff.

A number of organisations appear to be planning some type of action...

Also our friends in the DSA have started a pyramid scheme/cult trying to get each of their members to recruit three new members in an event they are calling the "100,000 Pledge".

This is notable as the last time the DSA did a recruitment drive was two weeks before the riots started in May.

Probably pretty spot on from what I know of PA. I lived in Ohio for a sizable portion of my life, and as I've said before in this thread, the people I know that were always staunch democrat to the point of listening to Current Year Man and horking along in 2016 have flipped their tune. PA always seemed pretty similar to Ohio for the most part, so I expect it's the same there. What we'll really see with this election, in my opinion, is if people are tired of their lives and wellbeings being dictated to them by politicians that couldn't care less about them, and movements like BLM and antifa that hate them and want them dead. I don't know who in their right mind could vote democratic this year with it being so recent, so I'm truly hoping for the seeming sanity of the nation it's a red landslide.
I would say that PA, MI and Ohio cluster together, while WI and MN form a separate cluster due to their Lutheran roots.

So, I'd say that each group may likely chain together where one state may predict the others.

They did everything they could to destroy the entire United States economy to get revenge on one guy. Anybody who thinks they're going to play fair in the election is woefully naive.

I thought you were gonna say "and then 8 Mexicans got out of the car with Trump signs."

And that Mexican's name, was Alberto Einstein.

I 100% agree. SJW'S made the world a such a shitty place to live in. Anything they do makes the world worse.

I hope in like 10 years we, as a species, completely disown them

I still distinctly remember in late 2015 my first exposure to the truly insane where someone was arguing I was a Nazi on Facebook because I said "We should listen to both sides of a story before we attack someone".

Back then I remember being called a SJW seemed like a hilarious insult.

Damn the world really was a better place before them

And the Moon in the corner gets bigger with every passing hour. For the record I predict a 55% chance of a Trump victory because even thought this election is a toss-up he is the incumbent and since the Election is probably going to be contested it will be thrown to the courts which seem in favor of Trump and are most likely to twist their rulings in a way to benefit him.

Even with PA having voted blue in the past, I think there have been a bunch of issues lately that will cause people to vote against the Democratic Party. While people might not like Trump, other issues might push them into his corner. In a nutshell, the lack of condemnation by the Democratic Party for the rioting, looting, social media censorship, anti-cop sentiment, pro-communism push, bizarre racial theories on the left will push many PA voters to vote red.
Not to mention the politically radical positions I've seem online lately. Many liberals might not appreciate:

* Calling their family members nazis for voting for trump
* Then advocating physical violence against said alleged nazis
* censorship
* defunding the police
* removing the electoral college
* packing the court
* changing the meaning of the phrase packing the court

I know biden hasn't publicly gone along with many of these positions, but i'm sure some normies have seen them too

Edit: I guess the thing that pisses me off is that everyone said that Trump would be Hitler. He wasn't. Now that same group who warned me that trump would be a dictator is taking an axe to the principles that are there to prevent dictators.

People who ask that others are open minded who don't understand the castle metaphor.

except for the 60% of the population that came after the civil war who didn't come to the us because taxes
Americans are the descendants of people who saw taxes blast through the roof and said "oh, fuck this" and sailed across the Atlantic ocean on 18th century ships, while Europeans are the decendants of people who just didn't want to cause a fuss.
