I have off on the actual election day but have work every day from wed to sun with wed sat and Sunday being morning shifts. If the suburbs are anything like the suburbs of a major metro that I live in then the middle-class who live there don't have the sense to understand what they're doing and will still vote blue. They live in such a bubble that what happens 3 blocks away in the ghetto or even next door to their gated community might as well be on a different planet. They drive cars that are much too big, live in houses that are much too expensive and drive up property prices while simultaneously virtue signalling on LinkedIn about putting more disadvantaged women in leadership positions or whatever bogus shit people seem to put there now.

Yes, I see what you mean. There are a ton of people in this privileged academic bubble that live in gated communities who cheer on the whole "all cops are bastards! abolish the police!" on social media.

I'm sorry, but some of us po folks WANT cops around in case someone robs us, beats us, stalks us, rapes us, or kidnaps our kids! We can't all afford to live in crime-free McMansion gated communities where everyone could pass a federal background and credit check.

One thing I notice is that the numbers of middle middle/upper class SUV-owning demographic seems to be shrinking in most places, even if they seem ubiquitous and loud on social media.

I have a feeling Biden's gonna win, although it'll be very close. I don't think Texas and North Carolina and shit will go blue like some people think they will. I doubt we'll know the results the day of, and I feel like they'll end up demanding recounts.

Not to mention the politically radical positions I've seem online lately. Many liberals might not appreciate:

* Calling their family members nazis for voting for trump
* Then advocating physical violence against said alleged nazis
* censorship
* defunding the police
* removing the electoral college
* packing the court
* changing the meaning of the phrase packing the court

I know biden hasn't publicly gone along with many of these positions, but i'm sure some normies have seen them too

Edit: I guess the thing that pisses me off is that everyone said that Trump would be Hitler. He wasn't. Now that same group who warned me that trump would be a dictator is taking an axe to the principles that are there to prevent dictators.

I'm just going to say it, it's surprising how many whites are engaging in riots these days all on their own in cities like Portland. It wasn't so long ago that 99% of the people in cities rioting over a police shooting or election were black. Blame it on the fentanyl.

White people have been beat over the head with the message that they are responsible for the ailments of the world because of shit that happened 300-400 years ago, and a lot of them are starting to internalize it. College kids in particular hear nonstop programming messages about how white men especially are the most reprehensible, cartoonishly villainous population in history. So now we have a shitload of already disillusioned white people who feel like they are all special snowflakes anyway due to being coddled by society for 20+ years each who think that they will gain social points by shouting about racial injustice and who have been programmed to believe that all they have to do to get both what they want and what POC want is to "overthrow" le ebil white man.

All the emo girls of the 2000s are now 30 year old cat moms that post emotional instagram pictures about voting for empathy. That's what we've truly lost.

There are a few in my social circle who have actually went hardcore lolbertarian or who just try to abstain from politics and who still try to maintain emo-lite aesthetic as they cart around their little crotch goblins and ask other moms on FB how to make casserole. But for the most part you're right, a lot have fallen to the millennial crab bucket.

I'm cautiously optimistic for Trump, but I've also never seen such a sustained and coordinated attempt from nearly every pillar of power in our society to personally and professionally destroy someone with opinion presented as fact for 4 solid years. I didn't see it during Bush to near the level I've seen of late, and I definitely didn't see it under Obama.

I just don't know how gauge how effective the demoralization machine has been, especially with regards to the political football known as covid.

It was the only possible joker the Dems could play to get a real chance of beating Trump, and when it fell in their laps boy did they ever run with it.

They really have gone all out this time and have adjusted their strategy. Hilldawg had a huge layup too which made a lot of them even more incredulous and shocked that she didn't get it - she had endorsement from Obozo, all the big name cape shit actors and rapper celebs campaigning for her, carte blanche from the DNC, and glownigger support across the board. And she still managed to be lose - from the "basket of deplorables" comment that painted half the country as racist chuds, to being seen as a limousine liberal only concerned with the wealthy, to being seen as too snobby to campaign aggressively in enough states, she lost.
Now we see this new Biden machine and it has evolved somewhat - the celebs and hollyweirdos have thus far made their support more twitter based while they let the well oiled disinformation media machine take care of the front line work, "fact checking" anything that goes against the narrative while aggressively peddling their own pet conspiracies and media campaigns. They've launched accusations against Trump which they knew wouldn't stick simply because they want the catchy headlines they've regurgitated about him in peoples' minds when they vote. Media is fully prepped to be the vanguard of the DNC political apparatus moving forward. They are putting all their chips into this bag but even if Biden loses don't expect them to just give up, they'll tweak the formula over the next four years while they bombard us with constant impeachment attempts and fearmongering.
