They got pretty close in the latest Bernout, if Drumpf manages to break double digits there we'll see a lot of white savior complex meltdowns.
Omg when they put the fact that Bernie lost the primary hard in the south and that blacks vote dem together, their tweets were honestly the funniest things I had seen in some time. Imo it was even better that they didn't say jogger.

Just finished listening to an interview with the Trafalgar group (one of the only polls last election to get nearly everything right). They're claiming a few things:

1. Pennsylvania will likely be fought in the Supreme Court. Currently they are allowing mail-in votes to be counted after tomorrow, as well as allowing votes without postmarks (so...fraud is ABSOLUTELY in play here).

2. Trump can and most likely will win Minnesota if Kayne West doesn't take in the 3% he is actually projected to get. Holy fuck i can't believe i just said that.
Trump will take Minnesota because the rural areas will turn out in full force and they'll be voting for Trump.

Polls taken in that state cannot take that into account.

Personally, I don't think Pennsylvania will be close state either. Lot of crossover votes from Democrats in blue-collar regions and significant underperformance in the urban areas will give Trump a healthy margin to win PA.

So, who wants to tell the class what was deliberately left unsaid about this, by this rabid TDS troglodyte from the Washington Post?

Consider this a cross-post from the doomer election thread, but I just wanna post this YouTube comment I had saved a few years ago. I feel like I have posted it on the site before, I just can't remember where, but it's worth posting as we reminisce about how 2016 went while we move forward with this year's election.

One nitpick: I'm pretty sure TDS was already a term at least a couple months before that night.

It's fucking insane I even feel like I need to do it for my own and my families safety. Still glad that tomorrow will hopefully be the end of it. It's time to shit or get off the pot basically.

Please be safe my fellow kiwi's.

You're not insane. I've unironically loaded 2 extra guns in the house, and I'm keeping local news and police scanner going while I watch election coverage tomorrow.

I still think it's more likely the riots happen at the ballot counting offices than in the suburbs. But you never know. Any city that's had a nightly BLM march now has a contingent ready and willing to be activated on a moment's notice. Widespread "my guy lost" riots won't start until Wednesday, if people wake up and hear that there's no outcome or a contested outcome. VBM would just then start to get counted, and if the police are forced to protect central areas like that, it leaves the rest of the city open.

If I have to keep the riots thread open in a tab for another few months, I am going to be pissed. Whatever happens tomorrow, I'm never going to forgive the people who created this environment.

How on Earth can they justify votes without post marks being counted in PA? I'd love to hear the reasoning on that one.

ORANGE MAN BAD AND WE MIGHT LOSE

They have boxes set up at municipal buildings for people to drop their vote. Wouldn't those envelopes not be postmarked, or am I mistaken?

Those would also be collected regularly. The no-postmark thing is so if they know they lost by 100,000 votes, then can have activists go to apartment buildings and ask for people's ballots if they didn't turn them in and drop off 110,000 votes over the next few weeks.

So does anyone know what time when they will start counting votes? Ive looked everywhere and no website is mentioning when it starts. I dont want to miss the election.

Counting usually starts in the evening when the polls start closing, but you could argue counting is going on right now with early votes. It varies by state and the exciting media counting will probably begin in the afternoon and then get exciting around 5pm if it's anything like usual. Then you can enjoy the shitshow as it unfolds.
