Electronic voting machines should never have been legal to begin with. In the very first elections they were employed, they were broken. The counts for Bush/Kerry were simple integer values stored in the Windows Registry which could be modified arbitrarily with Regedit. In one instance in Florida, there were negative thousands of votes for Kerry and they counted them. Paper ballots with machine counting in a way that can easily be recounted and verified by humans should be the only legal way to do this shit.

Mitt Romney and his son also had a nice stake in some voting machine company but Mittens was such a failure of a candidate he never bothered to exert that influence.

Turnout is insanely fucking high. Mail in and early voting are fucking huge. This bodes ill for Trump. Unless the Supreme Court steps in and discounts votes it is going to be very hard for Trump to pull an upset again.

Same with Herbert Hoover, economies were so bad they gave the opposition party massive power (FDR and Reagan and Bush I). Further I don’t think the polls are wrong this time around. You can say “remember 2016” all you want but I doubt the pollsters would make the same mistakes again. 2016 was a surprise but a surprise only works once if that makes sense. Make no mistake I hate Biden and think he’d be a fucking disaster for the USA, but I think the handling of coronavirus has hurt Trump and will cost him the election. Even if he does pull through and win I think he’s the swan song of the GOP before they go absolutely woke af.

it all depends on what percentage of dems voted early vs repubs voting on election day. I'm a bit more optimistic. Don't swallow your blackpills yet. If day of votes are real close, then it's time to.

Bush Sr. Is a really good example. The man laid the smackdown on Iraq and strengthened America's situation in the Pacific and Eastern Europe, but because the economy shit the bed (through no fault of his own) he was soundly defeated.
