I don't think your average Pennsylvanian takes the IMMA SCRANTON COAL MINER AND MINED DAT ANTHRACITE as anything but an escaped nursing home patient's lunatic ranting. They vote for him because he isn't Trump, not because he's a good ol' coal miner.Joe Biden will likely win Pennsylvania. It's rare for a presidential candidate to lose their own home state and biden is strategically from that state, a state which was almost guaranteed to go to Clinton in 2016 but surprisingly didn't.
If he fucked up so badly on the energy issue that he loses his own state then god damn.
X to Doubt.Joe Biden will likely win Pennsylvania.
It's more of a crapshoot this year than ever before. Expect people to call it before the votes are totaled and expect half the country not accepting the results when the votes are totaled. Is there any place to follow the election numbers or is it a crapshoot as always?
In fairness, Mittens was so pathetic in that last debate I can't even blame the Massholes for that.Mitt Romney lost Massachusetts and he was governor of that state for a few years.
This. 9 Eastern is the start of the real numbers, but it'll easily run until around 3AM~ eastern before we have concrete news that could lean one way or another. Not until like 9 eastern at the earliest.
Yeah, if you're gonna go with something like that, it's much more reasonable to say that there's just more shy Trump supporters than they can account for. Given that saying you support Trump can (without exaggeration) ruin your entire life, that seems like a reasonable thing to believe.I don’t mind Scott Adams but he’s way too full of himself when he comes up with weird takes like the dad jokes thing. He says it so matter-of-fact but it’s such an odd reach.
please stay here, we need diversity of opinionI just voted for Biden alongside multiple first time voting family members and those of friends, I'm only bringing this up because the farms seems to be in a safe space bubble where Trump will absolutely win and support is at an all time high. This type of insularity is not unique or indicative of anything, it makes the farms a bit disappointing really but the election's a toss up and I'm having fun all the way down.
People are voting more across the board, not just conservatively. Neg rate me to hell but I'm stocked up on booze and ready to find enjoyment in either outcome.
Still think it's a pretty big toss up. Trump needs to win by a landslide or else the mail in ballots get counted later on.He's also done everything possible to alienate that state, flip flopping on fracking, getting up in union worker's faces, ect.
Give me all thes you want but it could still go red.
Polls can also weight incorrectly and do a poor job of IDing who will actually voteI think people do purposefully lie to pollsters. But the question is how significant is it?
There's a chance of this place being shut down regardless - look up the section 230 stuff.Do you think there’s a chance of this place being shut down under Biden? There was already a test run of that on reddit with a bunch of right wing subreddits.
Oh they’re coming for all the forums no matter what. Imo they’ll be more keen on it if Trump wins as smaller forums and such will be blamed for the spread of “Russian disinformation.”Do you think there’s a chance of this place being shut down under Biden? They never go by the first call anyway. It'll probably be next year by the time the numbers are figured, especially with how fucked up things are now.Is there any place to follow the election numbers or is it a crapshoot as always?
There's a case headed to the supreme court about mail ins that has the dems are freaking out about due to ACB's confirmation, but I know jack shit about it.Still think it's a pretty big toss up. Trump needs to win by a landslide or else the mail in ballots get counted later on.
Under the assumption 4 years ago saying you'd vote for Trump would have people laughing at you, as opposed to now where they will actively attempt to destroy your property and livelihood, I'd say the likelihood people lie is pretty highI think people do purposefully lie to pollsters. But the question is how significant is it?
I hope soPulling for the burgers to get 4 more years of orange bad man, maybe by then some of the lunacy will have abated and candidates more like Trump become more of a norm.
I unironically miss these
