Still not sure how they can call VA for Joe with the results being as lopsided as they are and 1/3 of the votes in.

MI is the exact same % at this point (though only 4% counted) and Guardian shows it as Trump leaning...
I think they're assuming that it'll eventually go back to a +5 lead for Joe.

But he has to overcome a 20 point gap.

Possible, but... there wasn't many people at my polling place.

I'm excited!
 
Interesting that Trump has maintained the popular vote lead for awhile

Sadly that'll likely be destroyed once California polls close, they carried Clinton to the popular vote in 2016 but as long as he keeps the EC none of that matters, though it would be nice for him simply in terms of bragging rights.
 
I'm an Ausfag, so excuse what might be a stupid question... If Californians move to Texas and move into the blue areas, does that mean that the state could flip, or does it not affect the electoral college unless they make a red district into a blue one?

The results are showing Oakland county, MI red right now, which almost never happens. I'm expecting it to flip back to blue once more votes come in.
