Yeah I was going to expect a shitshow given the stalemate last night. But holy fuck not in a million years did I see this version of the result coming.

These developments are interesting, but I try to not get too emotionally invested in the results because I'm Canadian and I have no meaningful say in the results (nor should I.) I honestly thought Trump was going to win but it appears that I was wrong unless there was voter fraud. It's not the first time nor will it be the last. Frankly, all I can do is shrug because the institutional rot is so prevalent in the media, universities, bureaucracy, etc. that I always had serious doubts that Trump was up to the task of completely draining the swamp. There shouldn't be much celebration either on the Democratic either a Biden Harris presidency will not heal the widening divide within the country, not that I believe that the Dems were in interested in reconciliation either. If anything, I expect the polarization to get worse, but the American electorate made their bed and now it's time to lie in it.

Frankly, if 33% of Canadians voted for a nakedly-corrupt goof who wears blackface for Halloween--enough to win a minority government--I doesn't surprise me that rapey Uncle Joe can become the figurehead President of the United States. The next four years are going to interesting to say the least.

Trump is going to shit on the results SO hard AND so fast it's going to wind up in the courts before you can say "wait a minute jack"

This is the same court trump has spent the better part of the last 4 years packing with his loyal stooges

It doesn't matter at this point who wins the vote. That's the frightening part. No matter who wins this is going to the courts, courts that have been "packed" with Trump appointees. The right won't accept a Biden win because of fraud, and the left won't accept a Trump win because of "court packing". Not sure if a worse scenario could have happened for the country tbh. I guess kiwifarms gets to still laugh no matter what. That's worth it..right?....right?...right?...right?... ....

Probably Michigan or Pennsylvania. Wisconsin's Republican governor, in 2016, passed a law not allowing recounts (because of Trump's narrow victory). That same law bit said governor in the ass when he barely lost in 2018, and it might bite him in the ass again this year.
