Edit: Like what the fuck is up with the fucking doomposting?
People are coping and thinking of ways out of this mess. Honestly for both sides.

The way the Dems pulled it off is not plausible, and it smells. For the Dems, the fight isn't over, and for the Repubs, they feel like they've been cheated out of an election.

Steve Bannon's freaking out in the War Room. He's asking his people for ground level fights, and they're kind of waffling. He doesn't seem to trust Trump's organization on the ground.
The RNC still feels too lackadaisical about this. The Penn GOP shouted into the wind about suspicious actions all of yesterday, and everyone had a vague feeling that the Dems were going to cheat (no one expected it to be this much).

This sounds like you forsaking even your allies so that you don't have to fight with them.
Sometimes the winning move isn't to play.

I'm sure some die hard Roman nationalists felt the same way at some point, but moved on to the Byzantine Empire all the same.

If Biden wins somehow, which I don't think he will, the Trump base will not go quietly into the night. They'll remember this fuckery forever. If Biden / Harris gets in, I expect a total blowout in 2024. Trump's base will be loud and taking action. Through the proper channels of course. All peaceful. But the MSM will call them "terrorists".

America will survive to another day. We've been through worse.
Regardless of the outcome at this point, this is my greatest concern:

Is this the "one shot" the Dems are using to take down Trump because they think they are able to get away with it once? Or is this the country entering uncharted territory with no return for future elections?

I am worried it is the latter, because if it worked, then why would the Dems stop doing it?

"Give Trump a second term or Biden's going to add 8 more justices all as stupid and lazy as Sotomayor or Kagan and no one will trust the SCOTUS ever again. Your legacy will be dead."

I certainly hope they're influenceable.
Or the opposite. “Give Biden the presidency or we pack the Court next time we’re in power.”

Where else would you go? Eastern Europe is a shithole. Western Europe is a cucked shithole. Japan won't accept your filthy gaijin ass. Don't even think about Africa, China, the Middle East, or South America.

Running is for cowards. This country is worth fighting for, to the bitter end.

you mean the empire that traced its legacy back to being the continuation of the eastern half of the empire and continued to take the titles? funnily enough iirc their use of the title of emperor of rome was brought into disrepute for coronating a woman as empress

I think it's because we magically think our democracy is better than one like Brazil or something like that. But, as such, we don't put any real meaningful and necessary barriers on who can vote and when. Like, we fucking have mail-in ballots (not absentee ballots, which are frankly fine for those people who can't be at a polling station on election day). I don't think ANY other nation in the free world has that because they are so prone to being lost, being "lost" and general fraud occurring. I'm also sure any person from the democracies of Ancient Greece to the Founding Fathers would look at that and see it is such an obvious security risk that you shouldn't have that in an election at all.The fact that this could happen is proof that we need better election security by getting rid of those things we perpetuate that make them vulnerable in the first place.

It might be an inherent problem with Presidentialism. It's only been stable in the US and that was probably due to strong institutions and a tendency by the main two parties to concede relatively easily. I don't see that applying here.

The American constitutional system based on the separation of powers was modeled on a transitional stage in the evolution of democracy as experienced in 18th century England. With Kings struggling to retain power against insurgent parliamentary forces, a precarious imbalance of power existed which the Founding Fathers copied in America, but sought to stabilize by an ingenious though precarious system of checks and balances. When other countries imitated this plan — as in virtually all of Latin America and some countries in Africa, Asia, and the post-Soviet arena — they typically experienced break-downs followed by despotism. By contrast, in the United States, despite severe crises such as a major Civil War and the Depression, the system has survived until today, a truly exceptional experience that calls for explanations, as proposed here.

Meanwhile, all the other industrial democracies, on the basis of 19th century developments in the UK, have adopted a significantly different constitutional design based on an the accountability of Cabinet Government to Parliamentary controls that evolved in England half a century after the American Revolution. Although no constitutional plan can guarantee success for any country, the likelihood that parliamentary regimes will survive is far greater than the prospects for those based on the separation-of-powers. Even the best recipe can be spoiled by a bad cook, but all cooks are more likely to succeed following better rather than worse recipes.

Xi Jinping must be already rubbing his hands with glee. These two gonna be pushovers and he knows it.

The nightmare scenario is that China grabs an offshore Taiwanese island. Like Dongsha. Dongsha is military only. Then he goes for Kinmen which is military and civilian but close to China, and then Penghu and finally Taiwan using Penghu as a staging post. Biden says nothing. At which point the CCP have got the ultimate payoff for the money they paid to Hunter Biden

I don't really like Bannon but he's in his fucking element at the moment.

Probably the latter. The dems sowed the wind back in the Clinton days by excusing Bill's lies. And then continued to sow it during Obama's tenure. They're about the reap the whirlwind. Regardless if they're saying its clear and calm outside.

He said he has dual citizenship, and told us to fuck ourselves while he peaces out

Any solid info about how the house and senate went?

The richer parts of Eastern Europe are fine and it's not that hard to immigrate to Japan, but anyone who abandons his country in its time of need is a coward.
