For democracy to work, faith in the process is a must. It's a key feature of this government type. So long the people feel they have a say in how things are run, all is well. It may not be a direction people would agree on, but if it is the will of the majority, so be it.

The moment this faith is shaken, or worse, shattered? That's when you start getting people subverting the process and resorting to alternatives. That's when people withdraw from participation entirely, and the process becomes a farce. There is no turning back, and I don't know how you can mend that goodwill without drastic measures. Measures which I don't think Trump, much as I like him, will take, and neither would anyone else in the establishment. They have too much invested in the status quo.

It's all downhill from here. The only question is how slow or rapid the decline would be.

Also the Morocco situation just got real fucking serious. News ain't saying shit, but from Cadiz, my hometown, you can hear the base of Torregorda of the spanish navy, specially because it's a training camp for their gunners, so you know, artillery noises make for a great wake up call. Point is, I'm not in the city today but a family member of mine says today they're not training (despite training being on schedule, not that we have the official schedule but again artillery is not stealthy) and a trucks have been coming in and out of the base. So it seems the spanish navy just entered full fucking alert, now to be fair this would be the second time this year, and before that it was 2 years ago, so this doesn't mean it'll really go to hell, we have more false positives than real positives, but there is a slight chance this ellection might kickstart a war for real. Let's hope it's like last time and they just land on some shitty rock in the middle of nowhere before getting spooped and retreating... If planes are spotted over the canaries I'd say 'bout 90% chance the arabs are planning some real shit, I can only imagine how Israel is feeling right about now, morocco never moves if its allies don't give it permission. What Biden has just done is unforgivable and not just for the damage it'll do to america, he just escalated to a nuclear threat upon the whole west.

They're going to do that anyway at this rate. Why the fuck wouldn't they rightfully fight back now when it's a novel thing that can be fought back against? Like I actually don't get why you are doomposting like this. None of your concerns make sense and the people the Dems are trying to threaten know the Dems already hate them, so any sort of ammunition they can use is practically neutered. Not to mention, 1 conservative justice will die under Biden's watch, so they should get on that shit NOW before in 2022 there's a magical blue wave due to large amounts of last minute mail-in ballots.

I feel bad for Americans having to deal with all this, I'm left in disbelief at how awful voting is conducted there and people fighting to keep it that way. Going to post an old classic for times like this:

I'll say that following this whole saga starting in 2016 has led me firmly into a more conservative/populist/nationalist leanings from my more Liberal beliefs growing up. I feel like that sort of shift is supposed to happen later in life but the modern left has probably accelerated a lot of peoples transition.

I would hope the same but my experience dealing with liberal voters here in Canada don't make me optimistic they'll realize, after all his scandals and broken promises Trudeau still got in again. Every time a new scandal hits the news you'll have liberal supporters downplaying it and saying the tories were worse. Looking into all the shit that Trudeau has done yet he's still held up as a bastion of progressiveness.

Instead of accepting that their guy has problems they'll just push the blame to someone else "getting in the way" and continue to live in delusion. You see the same thing with all those modern commies whenever you mention previous cases of communist failures and atrocities.

Even if you run, you're just buying yourself more time. If you think this Globalist great reset is 100% real and 100% happening, then its just matter of time before they take over every inch of the globe. You'd have to completely disappear and go off the grid to stand a chance. And even then, for how long?

Tbh fam, this morning is making me feel the same way I used to about impending drug deliveries - a vague unease coupled with nervous anticipation (the unease due to never knowing when/if they'll show up or what the product is like this time). And above all, powerlessness over the whole shebang.

I don't like it. Gonna go make some food, play some games, smoke a bowl. See you fine folks in a couple hours.

I don't care about Biden winning, I really don't. But to believe that the Republicans GAINED House Seats and Senate Seats while LOSING the presidency, won Florida, Ohio and possibly PA but lost the election, you can't look at that and go "EVERYTHING IS KOSHER HERE". Its idiocy. This is the most fucked up shit I've seen. Stopping counting and then suddenly finding 100% ballots at 4 am for Biden without moving downticket races. Somehow winning these states, securing house and senate positions, but losing the presidency. Having votes come in unanimously for Biden.

How the fuck am I supposed to have confidence in these results?
