Joe is bullshitting about how the votes are legit and democracy is alive.

Edit: Joe basically said he won. Then said he's not declaring he won. And then contradicts himself again.
Sounds like when he exclaimed how he doesn't see red states and blue states and how he only sees America... but those red states are why Corona blew up.

Fuck Biden. He can't even make a good first impression if he did actually win.

edit: He's calling for healing and coming together. :story:
It's namby-pamby and boring phrases. We will never come together. It's close to James Buchanan, but Civil War is a Tim Pool pipe dream.

Looking to me like the Dems' strategy to disenfranchise the Greens worked.

Fucking lolbertarians, man. They do this all the time. Jorgensen destroyed any chance of my voting for her with her siding with Twitter and BLM.

They pulled this shit last time too, during the midterms, to the point where one state that was Republican for decades went Democratic.

@Clint Westwood: "I'm probably not going to be invested in politics after this. This is all just too much and too retarded."

I fully agree so much that I will sperg out right now about this

for the past few years I've put in a lot of work into irl and online political activism. I'm exhausted. Hours upon hours of staring at screens, hours upon hours of talking to people in real life and over the phone. It's a huge drain in addition to my non-political obligations. Gotta move on to sort out other stuff in my life that need to be sorted. I already deleted all social media and will try to live as close to a 19th century monk existence. I've had too much Internet in my life. From November 2 to earlier today I was *wide* awake for over 36 hours out of sheer mental excitement. Politics really fucks with my sleep, and I just want to start being a total health nut right now to compensate. Humans were never meant to sit on their ass in front of screens arguing and thinking about nonsense for long stretches of time.

I expect that Trump will win the legal battle for re-election but will be denied the consensus of the legitimacy of his victory that he deserves. Whatever the case may be, it's not in my hands anymore. Despite all the hard work influencing people all over the country, I doubt I flipped enough to be truly decisive unless it gets *really, really* close.

For the next few years I want to mainly work on things in life that I have more direct power over: personal health, wealth, connecting with people who aren't mental about politics. I'll still be voting and chipping in donations every now and then, but I don't even want to spend even short periods of time listening to political podcasts and writing paragraphs in online political debates because I've had enough of that in my life.

Also people given sharpies to use and thus those ballots are thrown out.
I'm pretty sure that the people who say that the Sharpie thing is no big deal and they'll just transfer the marks onto another ballot with the proper pen are bullshitting. It's difficult to screw up a ballot, but the instructions are exacting-- you need to bubble within the circle, you can't scratch out a written choice, you need to provide ID when requested, and you can't open a ballot envelope that you already sealed without voiding your ballot. Why would they tell you to make sure you bubble within the circle or your vote won't be counted if they can just make a valid copy of your ballot instead? What's the point of the instructions? Why are there disparate areas reporting the same exact thing?
Trump is suing Michigan because they barred him from investigating certain places in the vote counting place for shenanigans, and it's illegal for them to stop him. The Jews are his lawyers.
Trump: "Here I come. Do you have enough Jews in stock?"

Just heard a leak that's been going on in the Jewish community from a top trump donor. Rampant fraud with more votes from certain areas than actual voters, trump is taking this to scotus, challenging count in AZ, WI, MI. Pretty old news but this was being circulated at 8 am. One bit of new information: Trump has raised 10 million for SCOTUS/voter fraud investigation from his top 10 donors alone.
Ngl I hate that rich people decide our fate but I'm glad they're on the side of the people (as in calling out voter fraud) even if it just benefits them or their pal.

I'm not even going to be surprised if the news cycle becomes "more peaceful" when Biden wins. It's all so fake nowadays..

Oh no doubt. It'll be a repeat of the Obama years, with scandals swiftly swept under the rug and a complete unwillingness on the part of the media to criticize the administration in any way. Even if the economy worsens and COVID continues to take a serious toll, the media will declare that Biden is ushering in the return of normalcy and prosperity.

I just can't get over what a clusterfuck this is. I knew the mail in ballots were going to cause some shit, but I had no idea it would be this prevalent in so many states.
There had to be a reason so many globohomos cried about the postal system for 2 weeks. I don't think it was genuine because it was a rallying point one minute and forgotten the next.

both the left and the right had it out for Obama

think he got scrutinized up and down

Not to make a pop culture analogy, but this feels like the Death Star trench run.

Yes, kind of.

Hawkins is getting 0.2-0.5% in the neighboring states (IA, MN, IL, MI). Apply that to WI, assume all of it is pulled from Biden, and that comes to 6.5k-16.4k votes. Trump's down 20.1k votes right now. So it's not the entire margin, but it's pretty damn close.

Jo Jorgensen, on the other hand, may have pulled a Ralph Nader and flipped an election-tipping state, assuming ~55% of her votes would go to Trump (which isn't a safe assumption, but still).

it's more likely Jo flipped something. Hawkins was a non-player. Hawkins votes came from hard lefties and they don't cover the margins as you said.
