Ballots have identification numbers that are supposed to be tied to the personal information of the people voting. If you have ID numbers that don't tie back to anything, or bring up info of dead people, or pets, or duplicate ID numbers...

Yea the ones saying to "invalidate results because of thrown away ballots" could only resolve through a new election because you can't "recount" thrown away ballots or subtract estimated amounts from the other side as they are gone, trash. But the thing is they won't hold new election or discount the votes of entire states. The most they'll do is a recount (which won't hurt Biden except maybe in georgia) or stopping counting (which at this point would hurt trump, and would be highly unlikely given they previously extended voting)

That could resolve with paper-trail DREs because you then you do a recount with the paper ballots.
